Sisters

Sisters make the best of friends
they'll be there for you till the end.
They'll walk with you
and talk with you
even laugh and smile.
They will be there for you
if you need to cry for awhile.
My favorite thing about sisters though
is that the more we work together
the stronger we grow.

A Special Person

I know a special person
who means the world to me.
She works all day
and to be with her children
she'll find a way
If I need to talk
her door is always open
She makes a Sunday dinner
and invites everyone
In such a wonderful person
you could never find
A bigger WINNER!

A Parent's Cry

Why do the parents cry?
They cry because their children die
Take a stand
to keep the guns
out of the
childrens hands.
Too many children
have lost their lives.
Must more children die?
Why?
What can we do?
Take a stand!
Join hearts and hands.
We cry for those
who have gone before
We need to help
those still here
to live a full life
and look for the good.
Stay away from the bad.
Choose your path well
because no more parents
need to cry!
And for Heaven's sake
no more children
need to die!

Gang Wars

A gang war starts
and bullets fly
innocent children
are standing by.
Chidren are running,
their hearts are racing.
Reaching for the nearest door.
Shots are fired in the air,
weapons echo everywhere.
People scream
hoping that it's just a dream!
In the distance someone cries
"Thank the Lord nobody died."
Silence falls throughout the night
This time.......
Everyone will be all right.

Daddy Loves Mommy

I heard him yelling at her yesterday,
but daddy loves mommy.
I saw him hitting her today,
but daddy loves mommy.
I saw him reaching for his gun,
but daddy loves mommy.
We will bury her tomorrow,
All because my daddy has always
loved my mommy.
