Sweet and Sour Sauce~Cindy's
1 c. sugar
2 tbsps. cornstarch
1/4 c. vinegar
1 c. cold water
soy sauce
~Mix altogether in a saucepan.
~Add about 1/4 c. soy sauce.
~Let bubble stirring occasionally.
~Add more soy sauce as needed.

~This takes quite a bit of soy sauce for the most flavor. Keep adding until you like it.
~It  might take 1/2 c. soy sauce or more..
~Poke pork breakfast sausages and fry 'til golden brown.  Cut into 3 peices and add to sauce. Serve hot.
         ~or~
~Brown spareribs, pour hot sauce over and continue cooking in sauce.

~Serve hot with
chow mein recipe. (See Vegetables).
