| You need "ICONOID," a very useful desktop icon manager which remembers icon positions so they can be automatically restored when jumbled for any reason. ICONOID is freeware with e-mail support, though you'll never need it. The Wudows Safe Mode always forgets icon positions when returning to Normal, and that's reason enough to use ICONOID. When you've spent half an hour placing icons manually for a special effect, losing positions can mean extra work. With ICONOID a simple "Restore icon positions now," and you're right back in business.
