I've been painting a total of about 8 years. From the time I was 15 till about 20 it was strictly bombing... when I hit about 20 something is when I started focusing more on piecing and things of that sort, I guess with age you start to expand your mind, horizons, whatever you want to call it more and more...
2. Have you always had the same name?
Actually i�ve been writing Beir for about 3 years now, before that I wrote another name ... well leave that one out of this due to the wonderful law-in forcement, f'ing pigs. By the way my name is pronunced B-AIR not BEER
3. What does graffiti mean to you?
Graffiti is my life. It�s the only thing that has kept me off the streets as strange as that might sound since its all bout the streets. It�s giving me something more to live for unlike other things. It�s something that I connect with on a personal level. It�s something that is mine. I don�t need anyone else�s approval, I don�t need any one person to have it, its all bout me as selfish as that might, sound, but it�s something that I will always have.
4. Are you a bomber? Piecer? What do you prefer?
Honestly I don�t prefer any title. I just do what I do. I mean yeah I bomb, yeah I piece. But bottom line all it boils down to is it�s my art. It�s my expression. It�s my mark.
5. What is the scariest moment you have ever had painting?
It was probably about 6-7 months ago, it was a late night, rained all day... there was about 4 of us who went out kill some brews and what not, well that itch came on me and it was time for me to go, there was this PREFECT roof top right of a man freeway where I reside and I could resist it. Now take into consideration I'm in no way a normal kid. Im probally by far the biggest klutz you�ll ever meet... but back to the story...
It was rainy, wet, and I went to this spot, got my shit out and hoped the fence, well I went to get up on the side of this 2 story building, the walls were all stucco, so Im sure you can follow me with where Im going... I got up and realized that I left one of my cans down, so I left
the other 2 up top, went back down got the can, while I was pulling myself up, my feet slipped cause all the stucco rubbed off from the time before that I went up, and cause the roof was all slick my hands slipped, and I fell... but my hoodie pulled up over my face and my wrist and stomach were exposed, and I just slid down the side of this wall skin exposed.. Bottom line, two towels wroth of blood later and pulling stucco out of my stomach I had the most horrible bruises I have ever had.
6. How do you feel about some of the kids coming up today (writing)?
Honestly I can�t hate... I was there at one time, fuck it, were all still there, but I just think a lot more kids these days do it for the fame.... like its a hot new triple 555 soul jacket they want to rock for a season then just throw it back in the closet. It�s not what they love. There not willing to put there ass on the line for it, they just want to draw girls names to get laid.
7. What do you think about crews?
Im from two. cant hate on that either. its just getting yourself in the one that is for you. Thats actually crew. That has your back... NBS / GBT NIGGA WHAT!!!!
8. Is it tough being a girl writer?
I can be and it can�t be... I honestly don�t try to put myself into a classification even though it�s almost impossible... but yah everything has its moments.
9. Do you know other girl writers?
Yeah tons actually. There are some amazing females out there... Jes, Phem, Sherm, Later, Bjay, ALure, MeMe, Kami, Zori, Siren, etc etc...
10. If you could give any advice to a kid just starting out, what advice would you give them?
Make sure your doing this for you.. and never look back..
11. What do you think about graffiti beef?
Its hilarious, its just like high school. Its nothing but gossip. if motherf***ers cant say it to your face, obviously there to much of a bitch to waste your time.. Keep your focus.. You�ll end out on top
12. How long do you plan on painting?
Rest of my life. May not always be illegal but like I said its my life. It�s who I am

14. Would you rather write solo or with someone?
Either or, Im strange, sometimes I just wanna be alone, but then there�s times I want to rock with mad kids, either way... I just want to paint!
