I've been writing songs for a few years now. I wrote my first song in July of 2002. I worked hard on it and its still my personal favorite. In all honesty, I find songwriting one of the most dificult forms of writing. (for me anyways) Finding words that flow well and the inspiration isin't easy. I also never force myself to write; I don't sit down and say "okay, today you're gonna write a song about so and so". No, I don't do that. Because when I do, I get frustrated and the outcome is crap on paper. I just let the words come to me naturaly. I also have a few songs writen but that have been deemed unworthly to see the light of day. (actually, i feel that way abour certain songs here.) A side note, none of my songs have melodies; they're all just lyrics.
