| Originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan, Grace is the 2nd Oboist of the Albany Symphony and the Associate Oboe Teacher at the Manhattan School of Music. In the last few years, she has performed with The New York Philharmonic, The Baltimore Symphony, The Richmond Symphony, The Albany Symphony, The Baltimore Choral Arts Society, and The Washington, D.C. Summer Opera Orchestra for which The Washington Post said she was "an incredible English Horn player." In addition to performing throughout various states, she has also performed internationally in Italy, Germany, France, and Luxembourg. Grace earned a Bachelor's Degree in Oboe Performance from The Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University. While there, her major teacher was Joseph Turner, and she had additional studies with Katherine Needleman and Jane Marvine. In May of 2008, Grace received her Masters Degree from the Manhattan School of Music in Orchestral Oboe Performance. Her major teachers included Liang Wang and Robert Botti, and she has had additional work with Randall Ellis. |
