Bible Doctrine Study Guides Isaiah Chapter 55
{Principle
of Grace} And he who has no money; come you, buy, and eat.
Yes,
come, buy wine and milk 2 Why do you spend money for that which is not bread? And you labor for that which satisfies not?
'Hear,
listen and obey' {shama`} diligently unto Me, 3 Incline your ear, and come unto Me. Hear, and your soul shall live.
And
I will make an everlasting covenant with you,
4
Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people,
5
Behold, you shall call a nation that you know not,
6
Seek you Jehovah/God
7
Let the wicked forsake his Way,
And
to our 'Elohiym/Godhead, 8 For My thoughts are not your thoughts. Neither are your Ways . . . My Ways, said Jehovah/God.
9
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, {Note: This is the reason why a believer MUST study, study, study - daily . . . consistently the Word of God. We must replace our thoughts (norms and standards in the conscience of our soul) with His thoughts. Then we can apply His divine viewpoint to experience and HE receives the glory! It is HIS THOUGHTS working through us - and we do so from our own free will.}
10
For as the rain comes down, It shall not return unto Me void/empty.
But
it shall accomplish that which I please,
12
For you shall go out with joy,
The
mountains and the hills
13
Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree,
And
it shall be to Jehovah/God for a name,
