And he called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, Go, serve Jehovah/God, as you have said. 32
Also
take your flocks and your herds, Bless me also. 33
And
the Egyptians 'pressed hard'/'rushed the people,
34
And the people took their dough before it was leavened,
35
And the children of Israel did
And
they 'kept on seeking'
36
And Jehovah/God gave the people grace/favor
And
they 'intensively stripped off'/spoiled/plundered {Note: The Jews were slaves for generations. God caused the Egyptians to voluntarily hand over a lot of their immense wealth to the Jews as these former slaves left Egypt.}
37
And the sons of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth . . . {Note: Apparently this verse is letting us know that the men of age for war was about 600,000.}

And a mixed multitude went up also with them . . . {Note: So, here the women and children are mentioned, but the exact numbers are not given.}

And they baked unleavened cakes of the dough
Because
they were tossed out of Egypt,
40
Now the sojourning/'strangers passing though a strange land'

And it came to pass

It is a night to be much observed unto Jehovah/God
This
is that night of Jehovah/God
43
And Jehovah/God said unto Moses and Aaron, There shall no stranger eat thereof. 44
But
every man's servant that is bought for money, A foreigner and an hired servant shall not eat thereof. 46 In one house shall it be eaten.
You
shall not carry forth any of the flesh
Neither
shall you break a bone thereof. 47 All the congregation of Israel shall keep it. 48
And
when a stranger shall sojourn with you,
And
he shall be as one who is born in the land . . .
One
law shall be to him who is home-born, 50 Thus did all the children of Israel. As Jehovah/God commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they.

And it came to pass the selfsame day,
