Results of the 2001 SATA Invitational - John Lynch wins the Decathlon for the third straight year showing his dominance at the invitational. The runner-up of the decathlon was Mark Gaedje, and the Athlete of the Meet was Shaun Horan. Sam Silver, the runner-up of the decathlon for the last two years, had a disappointing showing and placed 4th overall. |

The SATA website services have now been handed over to Sam Silver and he will be the one dealing with all website issues. Lots of New Things - 1st off there is new scoring sheets being used. With these scoring sheets the scoring will be more even and fair. Everyone should take a look at them since the highest number of points a competitor can get in an event is 1800 POINTS. In addition, ALL the scoring sheets are based off the World Record for the event, therefore, it is highly doubtful that someone will get or break the World Record in any of the events, so there should be no point discrepencies. The EXACT date of the SATA Relays Festival and the Decathlon will be decided in the up and coming week. |
