It was the next morning and the sun was shinning through the windshield that woke up Catherine and Gil. Greg had fallen off the back seat and was crushed on the floor with Sara's hand in front of his face as she hogged the whole back seat. Catherine turned on the truck to see what time it was and music from the radio blared through out the interior of the Tahoe. The song 'Die Another Day' by Madonna woke up the sleepy Greg having him hit his head on the back of Catherine's seat piercing her back.
"Ouch!" Catherine yelled which caused Sara to wake up.
"Who, what, Greg why are you on the floor?" Sara asked as she sat up and ran her fingers through her matted hair like a comb.
"Because you were hogging the whole back seat, sorry about hitting you Cath" Greg replied as he was having difficulties sitting up.
"It's okay Greg, I think you got rid of my cramp I had in my back from sleeping in this very uncomfortable seat." Catherine said and everyone laughed.
"Would you two stop fighting you sound like an old married couple" Grissom stated turning towards the two lovebirds in the back.
"Well we will be getting married so get used to it Grissom, Sorry about hogging the whole back seat hun. Here let me help you sit up" Sara said and helped Greg get seat belted in.
"Now children lets behave, is everyone hungry?" Catherine said in her playful motherly tone, which he usually only uses on her daughter Lindsey.
"Yes Mother" Everyone said in unison and laughed. Catherine put the truck in drive and began going down the highway once again.
About an hour later they pulled into the parking lot of a Denny's restaurant. Everyone got out of the Tahoe and headed into the restaurant. They ordered some breakfast and Sara and Greg excused themselves to go use the bathroom. Catherine and Gil were left alone at their table.
"So will I still get my surprise?" Gil asked.
"Down lover boy, you have to patient and first we need to find a hotel room I don't think Greg and Sara would appreciate a show in their Tahoe" Catherine replied.
"Well Greg would but Sara would certainly disprove and defiantly in her Tahoe"
"We could always ask if she would like to join in,� They laughed and Sara and Greg were just returning from their bathroom excursion.
"What are you two laughing about?" Greg asked.
"Nothing" they both said at the same time. "Greg did you enjoy exploring the girls bathroom with Sara I'm sure she showed you everything," Catherine snickered and Sara and Greg blushed.
"As a matter of fact I did, we found a new use for the baby change table" Greg replied and Catherine and Gil bursted out laughing.
"Greg do you think they should change the name to baby maker table instead of baby changer table?" Gil asked Sara and Greg as Sara went flush with embarrassment.
"Well I'm sure all the time you 2 spend in the Men's washroom together Catherine has to know a new use for every piece of equipment in there by now!" Sara spat at them and everyone fell silent.
"We're sorry Sara we didn't mean to make you upset, but to tell you the truth the men's washrooms are almost the same as the women's just they have urinals, so if you've mastered the women's then you'll have no trouble the men's" Catherine confessed and both girls laughed
After eating Catherine decided to take a break from driving and Sara took over the wheel again. Catherine sat in the passenger's side as the two guys sat in the back. Sara turned on the radio and her favorite song began to play.
She didn't even realize it but she started to sing and shortly after Catherine joined in. Gil and Greg didn't even bother because they both couldn't sing worth crap. The girls however sounded exactly like the lady singing and when the song ended both ladies blushed.
"You girls are good" Greg replied.
"Thanks, if I wasn't smart I would of took up a singing career" Catherine joked.
'BEEP BEEP' went a noise on the truck and Sara's eyes widened. She saw they were out of gas.
"Oh crap" Sara said.
"What's the matter?" Gil asked.
"Were out of gas" Sara said and pulled over to the side of the road.
"WHAT!" Catherine yelled
"Well this is just peachy, were like in the middle of nowhere how are we suppose to get any gas!" Greg yelled and got out of the Tahoe.
"Greg calm down, try out cell phones maybe they will work so we can call for help." Grissom suggested and took out his cell phone. He turned it on and it read 'NO SERVICE'
"Great! Just flipping great!" Catherine yelled and threw her cell phone on the ground. She then stomped off into the trees.
"Maybe someone will stop and give us some help. Why don't you go and find Cath, I'll try and get us some help" Greg said to Sara and Gil. They nodded their heads in approval and went off searching for Catherine.
