�Maybe there is, but so far, the test have said otherwise. She�s going to perform some more in depth test next week.� Looking at Jade, she wondered if the woman in front of her was really a threat. �Are you serious about helping us?�
�Yes,� Jade said. �I am. I want you to know the joy of being a mother.�
Emily looked at Alyssa and then smiled softly at Jade. �We have a ten o�clock tomorrow morning?�
�Sure do,� Jade smiled back.
�We�ll be there. If you don�t have anything for us tomorrow, then we�ll just wait.� Emily was prepared for the wait. She�d already been warned by Elizabeth and Ric that it could be years before they finally got a baby. �And Jade?�
�Yeah?�
�Thanks,� it was one word, but Jade knew in that moment for the time being, Emily had called a truce.
