Whys that? Dillon asked, wondering how his mother even knew Jade.

I ran away a long time ago. Jade said. Someone might have mentioned it to your mother. She wouldnt be the one to tell Dillon that when he was just a little boy, and he believed his mother was sick, Tracey had spent the weekend in Florida with JW. Anyway, people are worried..

I call Ned. Dillon pointed out. Ned knew the truth, and had spoken to Alexis, although he hadnt shared that with Dillon. Ned knows and hes offered to help us. How the hell do you think I got the money I have? Ned gave it to me, made me promise to call..

But he doesnt know where you are either. Jade said, and then sighed. I cant make you tell your families about the baby, but theres something else going on here. Dillon, whose idea was it to give the baby up for adoption?

Georgies, he whispered, not wanting his girlfriend to hear that they were discussing her.

And what about you? Jade asked, gently. Although rare, she had dealt with cases like this before. What do you want?

I dont know. Dillon said, feeling for the first time that he could express his feelings and say everything hed been holding in since the day Georgie had told him about the pregnancy. I really love Georgie, and I think that we would make great parents, but shes so sure that giving the baby up is the best thing for everyone.

But you have your doubts? Jade knew that she couldnt proceed until Dillon convinced her that he was as serious as Georgie.

Yeah, but I also know that well have more children. Later.

Jade smiled as Georgie rejoined them. I think that I have enough information. She looked at them and wondered about her earlier idea for the adoptive parents. Do you two plan on returning to Port Charles?

Yes, thats the plan. Dillon said.

It was wrong, but she knew that it could actually work out, if she played it right. I have a couple looking to adopt. Usually, I go through a list, but all of my other couples are very close to having a baby. The only problem is that Im sure that you are going to have to see the baby. A lot.

Georgie looked at Dillon, but he stared at his hands. Can we ask who the couple is?

Not yet. Jade said. I have to talk to them, and make sure that they are serious about adopting. She looked at them. But I think it might be a really bad idea unless you two agree not to go back to Port Charles, or they agree to leave.
Are they that close to us? Georgie asked.

Fairly, Jade saw Dillons face. Look, its probably a bad idea, but for some reason, I think that this could be the best solution.

Would we have to meet them? Georgie asked.

Usually, I would arrange that before any decisions are made, but the biological mother is usually farther along. Lets wait a few weeks, see what happens, and if I think it can work out, well talk about it.

Who is it? Dillon asked.

I cant tell you. Jade said. Technically, they arent clients yet. The husband wanted to adopt and surprise his wife. She smiled to herself, thinking that it was typical of Zander to act before thinking. Let me talk to them. If they want to adopt your baby, and you want them to, it could actually be a very ugly situation. The more she talked about it, the less sure she was about pairing Emily and Zander with Georgie and Dillon. She looked at the young couple and shook her head. Nevermind. I cant do it.

Jade? Georgie grew nervous, worried that Jade had changed her mind about helping them.

I cant pair your baby with that couple. Itd be too complicated. Jade saw Dillon nod, and Georgie looked down. That doesnt mean I wont help, but I think itd be a bad idea.

Dillon walked her out and thanked her. Ned has been supportive, but its nice that well see someone from time to time.

Let him come visit. Jade instructed. He will be able to help. Maxie is suppose to start coming in a couple of days a week to help Betty with calls and whatnot, and if Georgie decides that she wants to tell her the truth, I can bring her out here. Jade was sure that Maxie wouldnt tell Mac anything, but be very supportive to Georgie.

Well see, Dillon said. Thanks for everything, Jade.

Not a problem, she smiled. I get calls everyday from people wanting to adopt. Trust me, if the two of you are serious, well find your baby a good home. She got in her car and Dillon watched as she drove away.

He already has a good home, Dillon said to himself before going in the house and comforting a nauseous Georgie.
