Oil on canvas.  10 August 1994.  24 x 33 1/2."  Private Collection, Oregon.  This painting is an early example of work ideas that the artist is presently pursuing.  The figurative elements here may be emerging or receding into their environment.  Are they being born, or in the process of decay?  Notice how each figure is joined to its surround and how the pattern of the picture echos throughout.  Though at this resolution it is hard to see, this picture is made up of very small bits of paint.
