We had another great gig at Joe's Garage last night.

The evening started with local rock gods Acetone kicking through some old school hard rock. Unfortunately there was not much of a crowd at that point but they'll be back at Joe's soon.

And then came the Fetals... their crowd is getting bigger every time. I think they brought the most people last night and they rocked for 'em. I cant say enough nice things about this band. They sing about stuff that everyone can relate to. They are not pretentious in anyway. If they hook up with the right punk label they will be touring all over the country soon.

Then we played. I think we played well. It was tough as we didnt have much fold back but we got the crowd going. We played all our usual tunes like pixie, sleepy and biting again and they got quite a fine reponse. We sold all the cds that we brought and theh crowd really were getting off on what we do.

But the highlight was the finale. A ripping rendition of Jingle Bells for the festive crowd. We had Gav and Jones from Acetone up singing with us as well as Dylan from the Fetals and the song rocked. Lots of high energy action and a great xmas vibe.

M
erry Xmas everyone and we will see you in the new year.

The first message for the year!!!

New Years was killer. We played an awesome gig out at Umina and the crowd was huge and they loved us. Now I know what you are saying. You've been reading the diary and think, how r they having such good gigs lately..well we dont know. All i know is I dont lie to you guys and I did tell the truth about Toukley... they werent very friendly.

We opened at Umina with a tribute to our good friends the Fetal and played the opening to Umina Town. It was the right thing to do. After that the crowd was eating out of our hands. The MC was a fuckwit and cut us short but the crowd let him know...so did we.

Anywho, we are planning for a big year and hope that all of you come for the ride.

See Ya

The Tall Timbers show went well. It was great to see such a good size crowd. They stayed late but we did our best for them. I thought I didnt sing very well that night and Heidi broke her E string again because she rocks too hard. A big thanx goes out to the Bass Player from the Plebs for lending his bass. We didnt really have to ask. That was really nice and we appreciate it.

That was our last gig for about a month so we are going to spend some time writing some new tunes. We have had a good run of gigs over the past 3 months and it has been great to see alot of new friends coming to regular shows.

Hello again.

We played our first show in Newcastle this year last night. It was ok. We had no fold back and it was hard on my voice. I was realy croaky by the end of the night. However there were some people who stayed for the whole evening and the crowd numbers increased. So it was ok.

We will be back there in a month and they said they wouild have foldback so all will be good.

We have shit loads of gigs over the next 2 months. We r booked every weekend so keep your eye on the gig page and come to the shows that you can.

We will be back in Newy next friday at the Lucky so I hope all goes well.
