| December 1 2001 What a busy week! Last weekend we spent 3 days in a studio cutting demos that will hopefully get us some business next year. We had some great help from our producer Baz and an awesome engineer called Danny. It was loads of fun and sure didnt feel like we were going from 10 am until 2 am that night for 3 days. We still have to do some vocals and mix the cd later so you guys wont see it for a while yet. We have so many gigs this month so keep your eye out for us. We might be near you soon. | December 2 2001 Well we played Ettalong Pub again last night and as always it was an interesting event. Unfortunatly due to teh time of year (work xmas parties) the crowd number was quite small. But do you think that stopped us from rocking out? Yep...Just kidding. However we did have to play 3 40 minute sets which was kinda crappy. Next time we play there we will bring another band and do an hour each. Thanx heaps Shannoon for being there for us with your pa. You were our last minute saviour. NOW GIVE US ONE OF YOUR FUCKING CDS BEFORE WE GET NASTY!!! For those who care, Shannon is the singer from the Fetal Mishaps and they have a new cd which we are yet to hear. But it has their good songs on it like "mullet" and "Umina Town" which are our favorite songs of theirs. We are playing with them again at Joe's Garage in December (with Acetone as well) we cant wait. Every time we play with the Fetals we have a good time...so bring it on!!! Cam |
| 8th of December 2001 12:40am Well I just got home from our show at "Brackets and Jam" and let me tell you it FUCKING ROCKED MAN!!!! The crowd was so into our music. They cheered and hollered and had a hoot. We had a really really really good time and are looking forward to the next time we play there. (Febuary...maybe?) But like most shows it started out wierd. We got there and there were 3 young men entertaining the crowd with theatre sports (they were doing a good job too) then there was a bit of folk music, some cool drum ensembles and an awesome irish band with a hurdy gurdy that we had to follow. Thus we were saying to each other "oooookaaaay, they arent gunna dig this" but lucky 4 us we were wrong. Once again a big thanx goes to the organisers. You put on a diverse and superb event that everyone who likes anything will enjoy. We cant wait until next time. THANK YOU!!! Cam. |
| 17th of December 2001 Well what can I say about the show at Toukley that we did this weekend? Tough Crowd springs to mind also Fucknucklehillbilly letsgetitonwithmysisterrednecks is another. Except for a few nice girls and some other friends that came to the show (thanx guys) the crowd were a right bunch of Fuck wits. But we gave just as good as we got. So we can hold our heads up high and know we played a good show and left the crowd screaming... Let me just end this entry with. To the people who gave us shit, I didn't see any of you doing what we do. If you do I didnt see your band playing anywhere, you were out having to pay your way...and we still got the money. Good night Cam xxxooo |
