| Diary 23rd of September. We Won!!!! We are the band that just keeps winning. But I'll tell u that the competition was fierce. We didn't play all that good but the judges liked us and that was cool. We got to play a 30 minute set at the end and there were some great moshers down the front. Thanx heaps u made the vibe awesome and we had soooo much fun playing for u. There were just so many good bands and we were convinced we had lost. But never mind. We won alot of good stuff to... $$$... recording time...cds... clothes plus more that we will find out. I have to say that the Central Coast scene is so good right now. So many good bands and they are all really friendly to. Not like a few years ago. | 19th of October Hey Goofy C's We have had a busy couple of days. We had a meeting the other day with some agent types and things went well. At this point we might have a producer for our cd that we will be recording in November. NICE! As for last nights gig. It was up and down. We came out real good. We were getting a nice crowd response then by the 5th song my guitar started to fuck up. I had a dud lead. We never recovered from that funk and the crowd became quite quiet after that. It was your average Bar on the Hill Crowd. We met John Butler and he was really nice. I chatted with his drummer about the Central Coast and he was having a bit of a memory. You might see us back there next year. Thanx to the guys that came up the front. Very Rock!! Cam ps. it's my big Bro's wedding today and all of the GTBJ family is going to be there. | Hello friend, 1/11/01 Just saying hi, It has been quiet recently at the GTBJ world. Heidi is doing her HSC, Dick is getting married on Saturday and I'm... I'm...? Well I finished uni for a year. Our next gig is on the 17th of November @ Joe's Garage in Gosford with our good friends "Groundside" after that we go recordin' then we have gigs every week for a month. | 18th of November We had a rippin' show last night. We pulled a nice size crowd and they were loud as hell. It was awesome. We had a great time and made some new friends and we went out for drinks after the show. We are recording next weekend for three days and we hope the end product will be really good. Keep an eye on the site as I will let you all know how we go. We are going to be busy over the next few weeks. Cam |
| 19/11/01 Just like to echo Cams last message. We had an awesome night on Saturday and would like to thank all those who came to support us! Especially those who travelled from Sydney, you guys are the best. We had a lot of fun after going out with the mob (Glen and Jessica, you ROCK!) and It would be great to see everyone again on the 22nd December, same time, same place!
