Better late than never. We did a show on Friday with the Radiators at Entrance that was killer. We were a little bummed because of all the cancelled gigs that  we have copped this week. So it was great to put on a good show. We got a great response from the growing crowd and by the end we even got some converts to the dance floor.

Not much more to add except that we are gigging less now to try and get this cd onto a label. But when we do do a show expect it to be big.

Well, didn't we get fucked around. Sometimes it is so hard to be motivated with the shit that we get put through just to play a show.

First of all this show was supposed to be our Newcastle ep launch. But everytime we booked a night at the Cambridge the local "Big Shot" agency, Big Apache, would book another band then kick us off the night. A week ago they tried to do that again by booking Gus n Frank over us but thankfully th epub stood their ground and we got the support for the show. They were sorry to do this and promised us that we would get a good show with a big crowd and would be not on early.

Then we get to the venue last night and we were told we were on at 9, which the pub had promised that would not happen. Also there was a $$10 door charge so all of our supporters rocked up at 10 to see us play got maybe 1/2 a song for $10 and the pub would not refund the money.

Treatment like that is truly fucked.

Always the Bridesmaid.

Did a show last night at the BUll n Bush Baulkham Hills. We played really well but could not get the crowd into us. No biggy, we aren't for everyone. Heid's is really sick...again. Which sux. But she still pplayed well even though she broke a string first tune. She rocks hard.

Other than that it was your average gig. Not a lot to say except we have lots of new songs that we now play in the set with all the ones of the ep.

WOOHOO!!!!

CD Launch party went off!!! We had such a great time so many people came to celebrate our new cd and we had a blast playing for them.

It was great to see some special people turn up like Kim our original bass player and Bernie who wrote the lyrics to Berzerkin in the Basin. We played everything off the cd as well as othe favs like From the Sun and I'm Sick as well as 3 newer tunes like "FFF, The Formula and Release" that was the first time played them loud and not acoustic.

After the show Heidi myself and some close friends retired to a room at the hotel and had some rock n roll shinanigans including Heidi copping a fire extinguisher in the mouth as well as spew in her car thanx to Kim (Sweet Revenge) The was much vomitting going on last night and some sore heads this morning. But damn it was worth it!!!!

Last night we did our first ever full acoustic show at "Off Broadway" in Sydney. It was a really cool event and we had a blast doing something that was completely different for us. We arranged some of our songs that we thought could work and added a couple of covers just for laughs. Here's the set,

Berzerkin' in the Basin
I Want You
Sleepy
Pixie
Piece of Candy (58)
Every Monday (The Marvelous 3)
The Formula (New Song)
Release (New Song)
Biting Again

The set went over really well and the pub has no hesitations in getting back for more gigs like it.
However we did have a few issues, I had to borrow a gtr off a mate of ours called Wil and during Pixie I snapped my G String. (It was brand new!!!) then Dave (One of the guys that ran the show) lent me a nice guitar and last song I snapped the G String on it. I wasn't even playing it at the time.

But the big thing for me last night was that I sang 2 songs completely by myself. I think it went over well but I was shittin' big time before going on. I usually don't get nerves but last night was different.

Also we introduced 2 new songs and they went really well and showed the direction that we are in at the moment.

Look for them in the set next week.

CYA THERE, IT WILL BE HUGE!!!!!

Hey Guys!
Last night we did a show in Newcastle with a great Sydney band called Element. They were really good. We had a top show and I thought we played really well the crowd was very receptive and I tink we made some new supporters which was very rad.

We also picked up the first copies of What Goes Around yesterday which we are very excited about. It sounds, looks and smells great. We are planning the launch show for August 9 so we expect to see all you crazy cats at that one.

Party on Wayne!!!!
