May 9

Wow what a day! We started the day off by starting some new recordings a Q Studios (formaly Rhino) in Sydney. That was totally killer. Got the drums and Bass down for a new tune called 'Angel'. The studio is where a lot of the big rock acts of the 80's recorded so it was cool to be in there. (Check out INXS's video "good times" with Jimmy Barnes) I will be there next Thurs to do Guitars and hopefully some vox.

Then a painful drive across town for a show at teh good old Cat n Fiddle. We played with a couple of signed acts and for some reason we had a bigger crowd. Kinda makes you wonder how this business worx when an unsigned band pulls bigger crowds.

We rocked hard after some weak pre show preparation. Heid's was ill and had a vomit, I was really tired and feeling quite pooped and Dick was a bit odd (Nothing different there) We got rid of a shit load of cds which was cool and some of our regulars said it was the best show we have ever done. I thought we put on a good show but we could have played better. It took us about 4 songs to find our groove. But the crowd was loud and I didn't have to sing all the parts. That makes you feel really cool. There were homages to Motley and AC/DC in songs which also made for some special memoirs.

Party on Wayne and Party on Garth.

Ahhhhhhhh!!!!

After all this time and the waiting then the frantic dayz recording then the waiting then another day recording to be at the point when the cd is only dayz away. I get a call from Baz (Engineer/Producer) and he says "Cam, bring your gear tomorrow I wanna do some more guitars on Biting Again."

Tomorrow will be a big day but I promise the cd will be mixed and complete by the end of it.

Then Heidi and I are off to LA to leave Dick behind to take care of the kids.

Long time no read.

It's been a long time between shows but we've been very busy so don't give us crap!

As far as the ep goes. I have been hitting the studio about once a week for the last 2 weeks and we have mixed both Sleepy and Growing Down. Everything is going to plan!!!

As far as last nights show went, I thought it was pretty good. We were at the University of Newcastle supporting Cog and Brace. We thought it would be a tough crowd due to the heaviness of teh other 2 bands but it went well. By the end of the set there were a couple of hundred people in front of us and they were really supportive.

We debuted a new song last night called "I'd Play" and it didn't go too badly. It still needs a few screws to be tightened but all in all it was pretty good,

Lookout at future shows for more new tunes.

Until then see ya!!!

Howdy.

Last night was a completely awesome show. We played the Cat n Fiddle in Balmain and it basically went off. The Crowd was soooo loud and receptive to our style of music. Luckily for us we were recording the show and you will be able to hear this yourself. However there will be warts. We had to choose that fine line, do we play for the crowd or for the recording. We chose crowd. Thus you will hear a band jumping about, missing notes and basically putting on a show. But hey, that's what we do.

We have finally finished the recording phase of our e.p. We begin mixing next week if you care to know.

Lastly, Heidi and I have been toiling away on new material. Expect to hear some of them in the upcoming shows. We have some rockers as well as some more developed tunes that hopefully is pushing our sound further.

I will let you know when tunes from last night are available.

Anybody notice the new look?

Time for change and I think it was a change for the better.

I can't believe how much I love playing in this band. Last night we had a show at the Cambridge at Newcastle and whilst the numbers were average I still had a great time. I think that really says something about where the band is at at this time.

We rocked really hard tonight and most of the songs felt really good. We did take about 2 songs to feel our groove but once we had the vibe going it was awesome fun. Our great mates Kriefty and DJ Fallout were there to do sound and do sound they did. We got some great reports.

The next show we will be recording but I will give you some more details when I know more.

On thursday we added keyboards to our ep. Wait until you hear this thing. It's going to be no Diorama but there is some nice orchestration going on.
