We had a big weekend and we just finished it.

1st was the Lucky in Newcastle. There is always something odd with the crowds in Newy and I just cant put my finger on it. They just seem too quiet for me. However I dont think we deserved a big response on Friday. We were a little sloppy and didnt put on the kind of show we usually do. So I dont blame them for being a little subdued. But we will keep on plugging away up there and I'm sure we will start to give em the show they deserve.

Then came Joes on saturday night. The thing about this show was that if we didnt pull a crowd they were gunna close the venue to all bands. So thanx to the crowds in the Central Coast they didnt let us down. A big crowd came and the 3 bands, Fullride20", Camel Clutch then us gave them a big night of loud rock n roll. I thought we went well and our new song "Happy Hour' was recieved well. THank you to Camel Clutch for coming in off the bench for the sick Fetal Mishaps. You guys did a fab job. Fullride we cant wait to play with you again in March.

Then today at the Beachcomber, Not a bad show. But it is hard to follow a great show like last nights. It was well organised and put together by Camel Clutch a punk day was had by all.

We have a heap of shows still to come in the next few weeks so come along. We have got our act together and we will try very hard for who ever is there.

We played "Brackets and Jam" last night for the first time this year and I gotta say I really love that place. The diversity and open minds that are there are awesome. Where else can you find a place where a group compirising of a Sitar, Digeridoo and 2 percussionists as well as a Ska funk band, Solo singers and a loud heavy rock band? No where I know of.

It was really good. It was great to see some of our devoted followers there again and people who know the words to our songs. we had a great night and we will play there again anytime.

Tonight we play Ettalong pub with Rubix Cuba. So you will hear from me again tomorrow.

Luv Ya!

I have a naughty dog that keeps running away. But he always comes back. I think because he really likes this place and the people in it. I think that's how I feel about Ettalong pub. I keep running away, but then I'll always come back...

That was our last gig of this short 'tour'. We've had some really great shows over these last 3 months. We've made friends with some great bands and the shoes have been fun, but I'll remember the shows all the same. We don't have another show over the next 2 weeks, however, we will be doing a bunch of recording. We'll be on the radio (2NURFM, 103.7 for all u Newcastle people) on the 4th after 9.30pm.  Also, we'll be on a compilation cd for the Live'n'Raw comp we won last September.

Then we'll be at the Cambridge. So please be there.

Sad newz kids. We have had to cancel our next show. Its for no big reason other than we cant do it and I got a few emails asking if the band was all good. Everything is fine. We just cant do the gig.

We are cutting some more demos this weekend and I will post some on mp3.com.au as soon as I can

2nd March

Just got home from a 5 hour demo session ath didnt go too badly.
We cut a demo of Pixie, Berzerkin' in the Basin, Happy Hour and Taken for a ride. The results are pretty good. My voice is very rough though because it has been sore for a while and needs time to rest...which I have not been doing. I will have mp3s up by tomorrow I hope but the site might stop it for a week or two because they are updating.

I am very happy with Berzerkin' and Happy Hour so they will probably be the ones to go up first.

Last nights gig was a bit of a shocker for us. We came out too hard and I snapped a string in the first song. So the momentum was fucked from the start. Then my voice was pretty crap and Heidi's bass was cutting in and out. Then because he was getting nervous dick kept speeding up. We got it together in the last three songs and the crowd got pretty loud by then. Thankfully Fullride20" put on a strong show so our problems were quickly forgotten.
We also recorded 2 tracks for a compilation cd that will be released in a month. They are sounding great and I cant wait for the cd to come out. I'm not sure of its name yet so I'll get back to you.
