Here we are doing a couple of tracks for a local youth centre's compilation cd featuring local central coast bands.
As you can see we did have some drama. Heidi managed to stick her foot through an air conditioner vent in the middle of the floor. (Thanx to some unprofessional workanship of the instalation company...not Coalface) She was stuck for a little while before Dick managed to free her leg out of the bend in the vent without cutting her on all the broken plastic that she put her foot through. (I will add that the bend was a side ways bend and your ankle is not built to go that way) Luckily there was a gym next door and the trainer there came and applied some first aid. He was totally cool and had seen us play before and hung around to watch us lay some tracks. He was cool.
But like the little trooper that she is, Heidi still layed some solid bass playing that no one can hear in the final mix. To get our opinion of the mix go to the diary and see. Next time we will be present! |
