In The Bible
Maybe I've watched "Jonah: A VeggieTales Movie" one too many times this week, but I feel like talking about him.

Now we all know the story.
God said, "Go to Nineneh and tell them they will bedestroyed." Jonah said, "No way!"  and set sail in the opposite direction.  Jonah hated those people because of their evil, but God loved them.  God is always slow to anger and quick to forgive.  Humans have trouble with that.

Now think of someone that you can't stand.
You probably came up with more than one, huh?
I know I did.   Now think about how God feels about them.
Jesus said:
But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you  Matthew 5:44
Now this can be hard to do, but I have always found that God's way is best.
Now the last time we see Jonah, he is mad at God for saving the city.  He knew that if they turned away from evil, that God would forgive them, and he didn't like that.
I hope that he repented of his hate, because that is something that can eat you up inside.  I know that God asked him to do things he did not like, but I am confident that he found the rewards of following God to be great.
Follow God no matter what.  It will be hard at times, but it is worth it.

I know, I left a buch of things out of the story.
Sorry.
Awww...go read it yourself:)

In the words of Bob the Tomato:
"God made you special and He loves you very much"
Hey, I hear a lot of people say that the Bible is full of contradictions, but they never bother to point any out.  So I challenge you to find me some.  Mail me and give me the chapters and verses that you believe to be in contradiction with each other.  I will read them, study them, pray about them, and maybe even talk to someone who is smarter than me.  It is my belief that any so called contradiction can be reconciled.  So if you find any, please send them in.  Thank you.
