When Wade and I first met, he worked at Giovanni's Pizza as the General Manager. I used to come in with Jen and we'd hang out, play darts or pool and eat Bavarian Sausage and Sauerkraut Pizza. Soon that particular pizza became sononomous with an excape from the mundane world: a place in time where greasy pizza, sugared soda and good friends and laughter were all that mattered-- or at least thats how Jen and I felt anyway.
Our first Valentines Day together, Wade took me to dinner, gave me a locket to wear around my neck, two dozen roses, bought champagne, chocolates... and yes, Bavarian Sausage and Sauerkraut Pizzas that he had put together earlier that were ready to be frozen. He even made one for Jen.
This last Wednesday night, Wade came home from his second job - delivering pizza for Dominos- while I was in the bathtub. He knocked on the bathroom door and when I let him in, he smiled and said he had something for me. From behind the door comes a Bavarian Sausage and Saurkraut Pizza. I was giddy. The sweetest thing about it, is that Dominos doesn't make Bavarian Sausage and Saurkraut Pizza. Wade had gone to the store, bought sausage and saurkraut, took it back to Dominos and put together the pizza. Do I have the sweetest man in the world, or what?
