Chapter One
Black Tears
As Hestia walked the tears trickled down a bear neck where pearls used to adorn her pale skin. The crest of her name, forged in pure Eleven Silver, would hang from the string of pearls and lay on her chest. As she walked her sister, Ireland, looked on from a distance. She had been watching her sister cry for some time and as Hestia moved out of sight Ireland decided to inlist Fantasia, Hestias Vampireic Prince to inquire of her sisters troubles.
He came swiftly and when he had located her he spoke to her in the gentlest voice and manner, "What is wrong Hestia dear?" She replied crying, "Someone took my necklace that has my power and if I don't get it back I will be in trouble."
Fantasia asked, "So you know who took it and where it is." Hestia answered him with anger, "If I did know do you think that I would need comfort or help!" she gasped then turned aside with her ands over her mouth. Fantasia stood in shock over what she had said, with his hand still stretch forth toward her back. He could feel the tears begin to swell inside like a pitcher pouring water into a small cup, ready to over flow.
Hestia whispered through the vale of her hands, "I'm sorry I'm in a bad mood." Fantasia moved close to her back and put his arms around her. He whispered into her ear, " I understand and I can feel it too."
She broke away from his embrace and ran to her room closing the door. There she looked apon a picture of her lover Fantasia. Although it was only a painting, it held a power of warmth that seemed to illuminate it?s own mood throughout the room. Fantasia had such soft features in both his face and body that many artists had been unable to do much justice for but this artiste was particularly unique. She thought this as she began to feel Fantasia?s love pouring into her through the eyes of the painting, blue as blood rushing to the heart for life, warm as the vitae that poured into her in the Embrace that made her immortally bonded to Fantasia, a man that she now knew would always love her without failure.
She descended onto the bed chanting, "Neto genalana fashes tela fa, come to me my love, show me the one, into the darkness of love, come to me my dark angle above." A blue light ascended from the floor before her and she began to see a face; it was Fantasia her vampire prince.
He comforted her that night in the blue light of the moon. When dawn came it came with sweet forgiveness and their blood bond made anew. She spoke to him as they stood in the light of the sun, "I must find my necklace before it is to late" Fantasia whispered to her, "I'll help you, I think I might know where to look"
He called the family together and once they were gathered in the great hall of the castle he spoke in a commanding tone one that Hestia had never heard before, "We must go to Valchnafa" Orin his twin brother stood and spoke, "What for?" Fantasia explained, " We must find the necklace and I feel that the situation is far worse then you might be able to sense." Ireland spoke and her soft voice softened the mood of the room, "That world is filled with anger and hate it seems to me that the only reason someone would have it there is for wrong doing and evil desire" Hestia sorrowed, " I fear that may be the case"
When they had arrived they went about asking the Valchian people about Hestia's necklace. Many said that they had seen their King wearing it and that he never removed it. After a night had past Hestia and Fantasia set off to go to the King of the land.
As they entered the throne room they saw the King on his throne and he was vary fare and beautiful to behold. Fantasia stood erect and walked toward the King, presenting Hestia at the throne as Hestia bowed low, "Your Royal Highness, may I present Hestia Athelia Zelaine De Calinot Mycron of the Filth Dynasty Mycrons." The King swooned with much pleasure as he gazed apon her with warm delight then asked, "Is she a gift for pleasure or a slave?" Fantasia spoke with anger in reply, " She is neither, she has come to ask the King for her necklace back!" He smiled, " Really, how interesting, does it look like this?." The King leaned forward in his throne cocking his head back showing the necklace to Hestia and she smiled, "Yes it is mine and I?ll do anything to get my power back." The King looked her softly in the eyes and asked, "Is that a promise?" Hestia looked deep into his eyes and said, "Yes it is."
The King called out, "Guards, take these two to their room." As they settled in the King entered and spoke to Hestia, "I will give you your necklace if you give me my pleasure." Before Hestia could answer him Fantasia stepped in front of her and speaking softly told her, "He want to trick you into making love to him." Hestia spoke in a soft whisper, "Don?t worry, it will be fine."
The King then took her by the hand and took her to his bedding room. He closed the door, removed his shirt and asked her, "Rub my back with one of your potions, since I know you the Mycrons do this." She nodded yes and removed one of her potions from her satchel as he laied down on his bed. As she began to rub it in he began to moan with pure pleasure and relief. Fantasia could hear it and he grew furious and raged through the door of the Kings room only to see that the pleasure was innocent. The scent of the potion relaxed him and he shut the door feeling a bit sheepish for what he had done.
The next day Hestia spent all her time with the King treating him to some knowledge of the Mycrons concerning life and the living of it and also giving him relief of mind through her touch, this of course being what he had asked her to do for him. That night she returned to Fantasia. As she readied herself for bed Fantasia watched her from the bed. As she brushed the tail of her braid he finally spoke to her, "I?m sorry for intruding last night, I had no idea that all he wanted of you was your simple service." Hestia walked over to him and sat on his lap on the bed and asked, "Do you really want to know how the Mycrons please the ones they love, my Vampireic Prince?" Fantasia tossed his book aside put his arms around her and putting his lips close to hers said, "Yes."
She lowered her head and putting her mouth close to his neck she dug her fangs into his pale skin. As the blood began to flow into her Fantasia leaned his head forward and slipped his fangs into her skin and drank her vitae. They supped on each other all night sharing their love through their passion and blood with more power than any vampire could feel.
When dawn came Hestia rose with the sun and readied her self for a visit from the King. As she finished dressing Fantasia awoke and watched her as she tightened her dress with the lace in front. He had always told her that dress was warm on her and as he watched her, his mouth began to bleed with passionate sweat. He rose from the bed and walked up behind her. Then taking her by the waist in his arms he kisses her and drains the blood into her mouth causing her to moan with passion. Just then the King comes in the room. Fantasia turns to him and asks; "Don?t you ever knock bone head?" The King chuckled and stepped back out knocked on the out side of the door then stepped back in. The King holds the necklace up, "Your necklace dear princess?" Hestia takes it and holds it close, "My power dear King."
They left the palace and met with Orin and Ireland. After telling of their experiences with the king they began the journey back but Hestia looked back at the palace and began to cry with joy. Fantasia called the tears; black tears of joy.
Chapter Two
The Prayer
One day as Hestia was getting dressed she looked in the mirror to see something was missing, "Fantasia?" Fantasia turned to her, "What is it?" She continued to look in the mirror, "My necklace, it is gone again!"
That is the beginning of the legend of the necklace. The Necklace had been put under a spell that if active it would effect the whole world. The verse is known as thus: Whosoever wilt hold these beads of pearl in prayer and say a prayer, behold the prayer come true.
Fantasia learned of this spell in hard circumstance. This time it was not a king who had taken it; it was Shitara, Hestia and Fantasia?s daughter. Shitara knew of the spell and had taken the necklace to bring herself comfort. She had gone to the Gothic Cathedral, a vampire church hall, to pray. She held it with praying hands and prayed saying;
"Death is death, life is life.
More becoming, I'd rather be smithe.
On this world and in this day,
Come on death take me away.
Into the future and beyond the past,
Come on death be quick, be fast."
Just as she finished Fantasia and Hestia walked in only to see death take their only child. By the dawn of the next day a decree had been scent out declaring it unlawful to pray, that the curse that be upon the necklace be now upon the whole world. That all those who prayed would be charged with treason and sentenced to prison for no less then three centuries.
About six months past without charges. Then came a young teenage boy from Earth to pray in the Cathedral where Shitara had died. He prayed for death to take away his parents. Before he could finish his prayer the royal guards caught him and took him before Hestia and Fantasia. Hestia asked him; "Do you know the punishment for praying on this planet?" The boy answered her, "I do now, but all I knew before was that prayers come true on this planet. That is why I came." Fantasia walked up to him and held the boy?s head in his hands, "Do you know of what happened to Shitara our daughter?" Suddenly there was a silence in all the world as the boy began to cry with sorrow. The boy spoke, "I knew Shitara well, what do you mean ?what happened to her??" Fantasia began to cry as he told the boy what had happened to her but as he finished asked, "How did you know her?"
The boy answered him; "She was my lover and sires." Hestia cried, "How can that be, you are human she is a Vampire and you live on Earth!"
He spoke to her softly, "First I knew her through my dreams then she came to me on Earth and kissed me the way Vampires do." He began to cry again unable to hold back the tears, "We were going to be married, but my parents hated her." Fantasia said unbelief, "How could anyone hate Shitara?" The boy now collected spoke more clearly, "She was a vampire and most of my kind are frightened by and hate vampires. They said she was gross and ugly unfit to be my wife and they wished death upon her." Hestia cried, "Why would they call her ugly?" The boy repeated, "She was a vampire." Fantasia asked him, "Do they call themselves Christian?" The boy began to laugh, "Sadly yes." Fantasia laughed, "Hypocrites! How about letting this boy finish his prayer" Hestia then added, "Bring our daughter back and you shall be married to her and live here with us."
As he finished his prayer Shitara came to life and they were married. Shitara that asked him, "How did you bring me back from the dead?" All they answered her was, "With a prayer"
Thus a decree was issued that all are free to pray again.
But be careful what you pray for; there is a price in the end.
Chapter Three
The Dream
Such dreams that bonded Shitara to this Earthling boy were not uncommon in her family. In fact it was such dreams that allowed Fantasia to chose Hestia for his mate. When Fantasia and Orin first came to call on Hestia and her sister Ireland, Orin was madly inlove with Ireland and they were both sure of each other but Fantasia was unsure of Hestias love towards him. He was unusual in that way, being a man one would think that he would hunger for her to be close to him, and he did but it was so strong it was hard to tell if his desire for her was love or lust.
One night Hestia had a dream. She dreamt she lost her necklace and Fantasia helped her get it back. She also dreamt they had a child and that the child got married. But she also dreamt that Fantasia thrust a stake of steel through her heart. Horrified she woke with a scream. Ireland and Orin came rushing in. Ireland asked her, "What in the name of White Saturn was that scream for?" Fantasia walked up to the door but hesitated unsure if he should really go into her bed room at night, but listened close to the door as she told her dream. As she finished she said, "Fantasia doesn?t care, every time we touch he pulls away just like Talalcin." Her words pierced his heart so deep it began to feel as if it would brake, the tears came like a water flow through his eyes, blood red and dripping like pearls to the floor. He pushed the door open and cried in pain, "Hestia, how can you say that. I love you, and I always will." Hestia struck the bed with her fist, " Then why do you pull away from me why do you not want me to be part of you?" Fantasia cried, "I want to be part of you and you a part of me but if that is to be so than you may die. There is a power between us and I feel it is good but?" He turned to go the pain was too much to bear. Hestia threw the covers aside and sat on the edge of the bed, "I am a Celtic Virus Vampire, the power you feel is Celtic Love." Fantasia turned to her and spoke before passing through the door, "If I stay my love will kill you." Hestia cried, "NO!" Fantasia raised his hand and she was quiet, "I love you enough to save you." Hestia screamed after him but Orin held her back, "My Vampire Prince don?t leave me!" But he was gone. Orin held her in his arms and tried to give her comfort, "My brother will return soon. He loves you too much to stay away for long. All he needs is time to think." Hestia pushed him off, "What our mother said was true, why am I so FOOLISH to love a man!" Ireland restrained her by the arms, "You are not foolish to love Fantasia he loves you and will return and marry you. You are Foolish to compare him to Talalcin you never loved him!" Hestia broke loose from her grip and ran down and out the castle gate.
Three years later Fantasia returned to the castle to find Hestia was not there. Ireland asked him as he settled back into his old room, "Do you love her for her or was it lust?" Fantasia asked her to sit and began to explain, "I love her more than any one in this world but I think that her lack of trust in me made it harder for us both to see the truth of our love." Ireland rose to go, "I hope she can trust you now."
Fantasia fell asleep and dreamt of a warm night in the Celtic Ruins with Hestia in his arms and his teeth in her neck in passionate repose. The dream was so real he could taste her blood trickling down his throat. He awoke to the taste of vitae in his mouth but it was not his. Hestia was leaning over him with blood dripping from her mouth. Fantasia smiled, "I love you." Hestia spoke with passion in her voice, "I love you, my Vampire Prince." Just then Fantasia saw that she had a dagger through her heart. She fell to his side on the bed and held her. He called on the god of life to save her and he removed the dagger. Just then the blood was gone and so was her pain, for a time. You see she was always dead because of the curse, the Dragon Curse.
Chapter Four
The Curse
Long before Hestias time and birth the Mycron family was cursed and that curse continues to plague the family even today. Why it is called the dragon curse no one really knows but it causes a loss of memory, which leads to a manic depression in which the infected person usually commits suicide because of the smallest disappointment. Hestias mother Vannalay died because of this curse when it took effect and caused her to kill her self.
Hestia as we said inherited it from her mother but Ireland remained unaffected by it. Hestias father had been trying to find a cure for the curse but had been unsuccessful.
One day as Hestia read the Vampire Revelations in the Gothic Cathedral she came upon her own name in the index. In shock and admiration she flipped the pages to see what it had to say of her. She read many wonderful things about her future and things had forgotten from her past mostly happy memories with her mother before she died. But then she read that on the Filth full moon of that year namely April 18th she would loose her memory completely. Unless if there was a cure to retrieve her memory.
But the time was close at hand and she began to despair. Two days before the curse was due Ireland gave Hestia a ring that was made of woven gold and had one small diamond in the center top. This helped her to retrieve her memory and her Necklace also provided protection and saved her memory.
Little did she know then that Fantasia had set the date of their marriage on April 18th, until her sister told her to put on her wedding dress and go to the Gothic Cathedral to be Handed over. Even then she thought that her father was going to hand her over to a stranger. With her heart so heavy she refused to look up at the grooms face the entire ceremony. Then as he lifted the vial he grabbed her by the waist and kissed her with his mouth dripping in vitae. She then knew whom she had married. Her Vampire Prince Fantasia.
