Goddess Rain
The clouds are filled with Goddess Rain
A silver candle burns a divine flame
The wind runs wild, old, untamed
Below the moon a Spiral dance
Round a web of Goddess chants
Don't shelter from the Goddess Rain
Soul cleansing crystal Goddess Rain
Shine bright the earth the drops desend
Serve the moon and join the dance that has no end
We all come from the Goddess and to Her we shall return
Even when the rain stops the silver candle will still burn
Misshapen
Shadow Puppet
A figure dancing against the flame
That silent silhouette, that black shape
Twirls before the flames, their flickering firelight
She moves skyclad but for a long cape
She could run with nature, through the forest
With wild horses in the wind, by the streams
This Samhain night she dances alone
As the settling dew gently steams

The Goddess reaches out to her
The breeze sighs through her hair
Protected by the elements, her spirit
Lights inside her, fire, earth, water, air
She's part of the earth, she is the Goddess
The fire's burning reflected in her eyes
This Samhain dawn she dances alone
As a raging storm tears apart the skies

Heavy rain drops flatten her fire
Like the old year the sparks are killed
She stands as still as a rock and watches
As the last of the embers are stilled
She gathers up her candles
Sweeps away her salt and sand
This Samhain dawn she danced alone
Now she dashes for Puppet Land
Amber eyes, sapphire dreams
See beyond your eyes
The centaur gallops free and wild
Amber eyes glow golden warm
Against cold glass reality
   Shatter this other world
   Broken stars and sapphire dreams
   Lifted at the fragile sound
   Centaur hooves on ancient stone
Whispering chants on a tender wind
Time will cease as ages meet
Pagan, perfect, peaceful rest
Amber eyes and sapphire dreams
Shards of life in slow motion
Stream and fall and are buried
   Cower away in a corner
Until the centaur's eyes coax you out
Stretched to exist in two different lives
Not everything you see is real
Tempted to cut the bonds and float
With amber eyes and sapphire dreams
(Not intended to make any sense whatsoever)
Back
Twisted Metal, Flower Petal
Twisted metal, flower petal
Spin and flick and watch it settle
I write your name in the dust
Stupid things I know I must
Sit and watch the fowers die
Silvers sands and metal sky
Dazzling black, candle light
Sparkles fading into white
I battle all the things I fear
I'd call you but you'd never hear
Scratches on my crystal ball
Flower petals dry and fall
Vultures circle each time we fail
Bitter nectar and metal stale
Wispy green and shallow shade
Sit and watch the colours fade
Count the hours, the pretty things
The twisted metal and butterfly wings
Sunrise as the metal glows
Tears, another flower grows

Meant For Me
These scars are part of who I am
Not what I hate being
A tiny slice of my life
I'll try to stop you seeing
These scars aren't meant for you
The way they're meant for me
They're just part of who I am
Not what I want to be
These marks will never make me different
They're just something that I do
They're just part of the way I am
The part I hide from you
Don't let them come between us
   I'm still the same inside
Just because I didn't tell you
   Doesn't mean I lied

Hiss
You pave your streets in tarmac
We honour ours with grass
You lie on beds of bank notes
We sit in broken glass

Those like you will come and go
Those like us will stay in stone
And when you rise up to kill us all
    You'll find you stand alone

For those who fight and run away
Know violence can gain nothing
Those who fight do so in vain
Against us none can win

We do not fight with weapons
Our law is to harm none
We can recognize the other side
To when a war is truly won

The Fallen
I'm the fallen wings of Widdershins
Diving onto a bed of old snake skins
I'm dead to the world lost in a daze
Whirling and fizzing trapped in a maze
Flickering glass-gold dripping to the floor
So long as I don't lose hold and hate them anymore

I'm back on the old road so hang your head in shame
I'm back where I began so look how far you came

I'm the fallen wings of Widdershins
In a paradise fit for kings
Bathed ruby red fragmented shine
Dazzling dullness in stark decline
Sugar soaked blanket to hynotise
Broken bricks to fall and rise

I'm back on the old road so hang your head in shame
I'm back where I began so look how far you came

I'm the fallen wings of Widdershins
The type of demonic spirit that sings
Spinning a shroud in the background
Air shimmers at the slightest sound
Misguided eyes drop and enlightened eyes gape
The Oracle told me I could escape

One day I created a girl the opposite of me
she had all the qualities i lacked and
none of my faults either she seemed like such a nice person i decided i must be evil the more i hated myself the more
she loved me
because i would have died for her she wanted to kill me she was so screwed up i thought i couldn't be so bad the more i accepted myself the more she wanted to hurt me
