| Rose shows a lovely correlation of parts. She's smooth bodied, long and level and stands on excellent feet and legs. She is showing much width between the hocks and a high arching escutcheon - which always holds promise for a lovely mammary system. Rose made a very impressive debut to her showing career, considering she was quite nervous about the ring and moving around it. At the 2005 CGS West National Show, Rose was 3rd Place Dry Yearling, with her littermate sister Blue Thunder Rebakah V being 2nd Place Dry Yearling. Rose and Rebekah were joined in success at the National show with their dam, Blue Thunder Ace Regaylia (EX/EX) being named the 2005 Reserve Grand Champion with Best Udder!!! Quite a day for dam and daughters! At the Rocky Mountain Dairy Show, Rose was shown twice in a Combined Purebred Dry Yearling class, and she was 1X3rd and 1X4th. Her littermate sister, Rebakah, in the same classes was 1X2nd and Reserve Junior Champion, and 1Xst and Junior Grand Champion respectively. Rose will be bred to Blue Thunder Giancarlo for April kidding. Kids: $300, 1st doe kid reserved. |
