Please understand that some of these interviews are old and have been viewed quite often. There's really nothing I can do to get sound or image quality back. All interviews were taped at different times, over a course of years and I do my best to keep them all in the best condition possible. But with VHS tapes, I can't avoid regular wear and tear from repeated viewings. I will eventually be converting them to DVD. For those of you who live in the US, if you don't have anything to trade and would like to receive copies of my tapes, the costs are as follows: Cost for 2 hour tapes: $10.00 each if you supply the tapes, $12.00 each if I supply the tapes. Cost for 6 hour tapes: $10.00 each if you supply the tapes, $12.00 each if I supply the tapes. _______________________________ International - US dollar transactions only All of these tapes are in the 60 Hz, NTSC format. This is the video format used in North America and Japan. NTSC videotapes WILL NOT work on most videocassette players in countries that use PAL, SECAM, or other video standards. PAL-format VHS tapes will work on most players in Europe, Australia, China, and parts of the Middle East. SECAM-format VHS tapes will work on players in France. Please be aware of this before you order any tapes. Cost for 2 hour tapes: $13.00 each if you supply the tapes, $16.00 each if I supply the tapes. Cost for 6 hour tapes: $13.00 each if you supply the tapes, $16.00 each if I supply the tapes. | Prices The costs of all tapes covers the cost of S&H/postage, packaging, and the VHS tapes I will use. I only use name brand tapes (Sony, Maxell, Fuji, etc.). If you decide to send your own blank tapes, I would recommend using brand name tapes for better quality recording. If you want the video on a particular brand of tape, you will have to provide the tape for me if I can't find it. Not all brands/styles are available in my area. Otherwise I'll stick to the ones I regularly use. I accept payment by check or money order through the mail. Paypal is also acceptable. I don't begin any work on your tapes until your check clears. So it takes a week or so before I get to work. Cash should be sent at your own risk. I am not responsible should your money be stolen from the envelope you sent it in before it gets to me. No refund provided. Please be sure to make a note of this. Also, if you feel that you cannot purchase all the tapes you want at once, I also do tapes by installments. __________________________________ Tape Content Please include a note with payment telling me exactly what your tape request was. Be sure to include your mailing address or the address you wish me to ship the package to, and your e-mail address in case I have any questions. __________________________________ Return/Refund Policies If tapes arrive to you broken during shipping, I will not replace them unless you provide money to insure the replacement package. I will however, replace tapes free of charge (although return shipping will be your responsibility) ONLY if tapes have poor tracking that was not on my original or if I sent you the wrong tape.
