I just finished working on 2 hats, one for a friend's baby and the other for a small child. It's a tri-colored hat knit in the round on double pointed needles. I got the pattern from the Woolworks page, however I adapted it to fit a small baby (thanks to Markus for the math help!) The pattern was sent in by Joan L. Hamer and had no accompanying photo, so I went blindly into this one, and I'm so pleased with the results!
I used 3 colors of Lion Brand Cotton Ease yarn, Pistachio, Pineapple and Candy Blue. I also made mittens in the same tri-color pattern to accompany the baby hat. Click HERE for the mitten pattern. |
