As_He_Gently_Took_My

September 3rd, 2001

I was sitting by the lake side wond�ring if my love would show.
And so I asked the Lord to tell me the things I thought I�d need to know.

And as He gently took my hand in His, He spoke these words to me:
�You are my beloved daughter, and most precious as can be.�

�Close your eyes and listen carefully, as the wind speaks through the trees.
Reach your hand out while the rain falls, all things testify of Me.�

If you study quite intently, there are things that you can learn.
There are many hidden things in life that you will soon discern.

For the rose is very special if you�ll study it you�ll find
A gift I�ve given for your pleasure, and yet another for mankind,

A gift I give if you are faithful and one most precious than the rest.
Eternal Life, is given freely. Follow Me, I�ll give you rest.

Always know that I am with you, I will be right by your side.
The Holy Ghost I will send to you that He will always be your guide.�

All you need to do is ask Me and I�ll show you this is true
I will answer when you call Me and remember.... I love you.�

And when He had finished speaking, I understood what just took place
All the love I ever needed was standing right before my face.

God created many treasures and the love He gives is real.
May I never take for granted and may I always do His will.
