The list of direct descendants is around 315!
The purpose of this website is to pay tribute to the courage and determination of our ancestors who left Ireland to start a new life in America. I also hope the site will be useful for those looking into their family history.
I would like to thank Mike Reilly and Trisha Logic-Doyle for their efforts in keeping history alive and inspiring me to attempt this site. Mike Reilly's website on Byrnesville, PA is a wonderful site that celebrates the rich tapestry of life and family in the town in which John and Sabina started their new life. Tricia Logic-Doyle has contributed to Mike Reilly's website with a wonderful biography and lineage of (Martin) Dan Walsh, my grandfather, one of the great singers of mining songs and ballads.
I'm always looking for more information on John and Sabina so anything you may have, stories, oral history, etc. please let me know.I think the kids will love being able to see the generations going back and will be amazed at how truly large this clan of the Walsh's is. Most of the Family Tree charts and family lists are located on another website due to the large data base involved. You can visit that site, and other interesting sites, by going to the appropriate links below. Have fun and be sure to sign my guest book!!
