The Collar, Ko’lar,{

The tradition of the online collar, or ko`lar as some like to say, is another Gorean tradition and is claimed to be their invention. A *slave* wears the identity of their *Owner* after their name. e.g. a girl named verity by her Master, Huge Lion, may have the whole of his name or an abbreviation of it in { } after her name. e.g. verity{HUGE-LION}, or more likely verity{HL}. This gets a bit confusing when a girl bears the abbreviation that could refer to more than one man. e.g. There may also be a Huge Larl online. (A Larl, being a Gorean animal.) and so now there has grown up a tradition of girls following their signatures with e.g.: “Huge Lions slut.” and sometimes like the Masters some little homily like “All her, mind, body and soul is His.”
