Nick and I lay around the room that night watching a movie. Thank godness they are in English,
"I still can't believe you said that to Kevin and Kristin." He sighs,
"I didn't know." I roll my eyes and get up to answer the knock on the door. It was Jose and he wheels the cart inside the room. His eyes seem to be stuck on my legs, which were not covered very well by my Niners jersey,
"Hola Jose y gracias." He smiles and bows ever so slightly,
"No hay de que senorita." I handed him some money,
"Aqui tiene." He walks out after winking at me and Nick walks over to me,
"What was that?" I look on the cart and see everything we need to make our late night sundaes,
"What was what?" I can hear him sigh,
"He was all over you. He looked you up and down. He even winked." I laugh,
"Nick, people flirt for bigger tips all the time. He's harmless." He pushes me out of the way and begins to make his sundae,
"I'm going to get you for that." I stand up and he looks at me with a pathetic look on his face,
"What?" He sighs,
"Can you make mine for me please?" He bats his eyes, then stands behind me and wraps his arms around my waist,
"You're such a baby and don;t go hugging me cuase you want something." He laughs and places his head on my shoulder,
"You know you love me." My smile fades slightly, sometimes I think I do Nick. The moment ends when he starts griping again,
"Just be careful ok, I don't like that cat." I laugh,
"What cat?" He sighs,
"That dude who was just here Winnie." I roll my eyes,
"His name is Jose."
"I don't care if it's quiero taco bell." I turn and wrap my arms around his waist,
"You are so corny." He nods and kisses me on the forehead,
"Yeah, can you hurry with my sundae please? If you're nice I'll let you lick some chocolate sauce off me." I moan, I would love nothing more. I hope he didn't hear me moan,
"In your dreams." He laughs,
"Yeah, I know."
The guys got up for an early rehearsal and a few interviews at the stadium so we can all go sighteseeing. I'm in the mirror, almost ready, when he comes back in the room,
"Ready?" I nod,
"Yep." We make it to the lobby first and Nick ends up signing a few autographs before it got crazy and we were shoved into the van. They decided to leave and we end up in the back of the hotel where the rest of the guys, along with Leighanne, Kristin and Sarah are waiting. Kristin pulls Kevin in the van with Nick, Larry, Dave, their tour manager and me,
"Hi guys." I smile at her, she's always so happy and bubbly,
"Hey." Nick looks over at Kevin,
"How come no one told me we were going out back?" Larry shakes his head and Kevin laughs,
"You were the decoy while we made it to the back." Nick looks up at Larry,
"Is that true?" Larry turns and looks at him,
"You think I would let that happen to you? You did want to sign some autographs so that's why you were first and they were very calm up until they saw you. That's when it was decided to send everyone else out the back." Nick sat back in the seat, arms crossed and lips out, I think he believed Kevin and not Larry. I believe Kevin too.
The caravan ends up at a horse ranch and we all get our own horses. After a few minutes of lessons we're ready to go on the trail.
"Aqui tiene Howie, this is Raindrop." Nick laughs,
"Raindrop, cute Howie." AJ's horse was next and her name was Meadow's Lark. Nick was the last to get his horse,
"Here you go Senor Nick. This is Lightning." Nick's face distorted into the weirdest face I've ever seen,
"Kevin rides horses, why is his horse named Buttercup and mine is Lightning?" AJ rolls his eyes,
"Nick, please." Nick whirls around, looking at AJ,
"What?" Howie laughs,
"You're whining about a horse's name." AJ nods,
"And don't forget you're looking like a punk." Nick snorts,
"So, call me a punk, so, so, I don't care. I'm not getting on a horse named Lightning." We all look around at each other, laughing at Nick as he continues,
"Kevin is riding Buttercup, Howie gets Raindrop." he pointed over at Brian,
"And look at BRIAN'S horse. He's over there riding my little pony and I get Lightning? No way." The arguement goes on until Kelly, a very experienced rider, takes Lightning and gives Nick her horse, Snowflake.
