Once he came out of the bathroom I stand up from my comfortable position on the couch,
"I'm gonna get going." He looks over,
"Why? I was going to order breakfast." I smile and walk over to my shoes,
"I already did...for you. Bacon, sausage, pancakes, scrambled eggs and orange juice, is that ok?" He smiles and nods his head,
"Yeah." I could tell he was a little taken back,
"I like doing things for people. Speaking of, I better check on Chris she's going to feeel it this morning." He walks towards me and wraps me in his arms,
"Nice seeing you again." He kisses me on the cheek and I turn to leave, shoes in hand, I'm just going to take a shower no use in putting them on,
"You'll be at the concert right?"
"Yeah, then we go back home Sunday afternoon. When do you guys leave?"
"We leave Sunday too, concert in Tampa Tuesday night." I stand in the doorway,
"Back home huh?" He smiles and nods his head,
"Yeah, you should just stay and go to Tampa." I can't believe I'm hesistating because it's not even an option, I know I can't do it because I have to go to work. Although I could get away with calling in at the last minute but I don't want to do that,
"Come on, you can hang out on tour for a few days." I smile and shake my head,
"I can't, I have to work." Before he could say anything else I release the door and begin to leave,
"I gotta go, gotta check on Chris."
I make it back to the room to see David and Elliott sitting on my bed talking to Chris, who was sipping on a cup of coffee,
"Where have you been? Like we don't know." I roll my eyes at Chris and was about to deny any wrong doing on my part when David chimed in,
"Was he good? I just knew he was gay, I can't believe how wrong I was...but he IS quite friendly when he's drunk." We winked his eye,
"What does that mean?" Chris smiles,
"He just means Nick is very touchy feely." Elliott laughed,
"David got a false positive when Nick threw his arm around him and pulled him towards his face...even I thought he was about to kiss David." I look over at David,
"So, what happened?" I stand there holding my breath as David rolls his eyes and smile,
"Not a damn thing, he just gave me that straight man sideways hug." I breathe a sigh of relief, for whatever reason, well I do know, for my own selfish reasons I don't want Nick to be gay. Not because it would ruin some dream of marrying him and having his children and I obviously don't have a problem with gay men as I look over at Elliott,
"So, tell us what happened, it had to have been good to keep you from checking in on your friend." I look over at Chris wide-eyed and she smiles,
"Don't worry about it, it was nothing, I just woke up like ten minutes ago, I didn't need a sitter." I smile and sit on her bed,
"Nothing happened. I fell asleep during the movie, I woke up through the night and realized where I was then went back to sleep. I watched the news with Kevin for a couple a minutes, Nick woke up and then I left." Chris nods and places her cup on the nightstand,
"What did you leave out?" I smile, she always wants the whole story no brief summaries for her,
"Kevin came by to get a CD Nick borrowed from him, that's why he was there. And Nick asked me to go to Tampa with him and hang out on the tour for a little while and I said no." Chris nearly squealed,
"What?! You said no, why?" I stand up and go over to my suitcase,
"Because I can't, I have to work." I pull out a denim skirt and a black top,
"Wait, you didn't sleep with him at all?" I smile, their shock makes me even more proud that nothing happened,
"All we did was SLEEP." Chris sighs and opens a bottle of water,
"I can't believe you. That's the second time you've slept in the same bed with him. No kiss, no feel, no grinding...nothing?" I shake my head and walk towards the bathroom,
"Nothing, sorry. Besides, the first time he was wasted and this time I was alseep." David laughed,
"So that doesn't mean you don't WANT something to happen." I smile seductively at him before closing the bathroom door.
