Nick was hanging around Lexi's condo while she was at work watching one of her many DVDs, most of which were movies he had never seen, when his cell phone rang,
"Hello?...Hello?" He could hear the person clear their throat,
"Hi Nick, it's Shayna, are you busy?" He sat up and cleared his own throat,
"Uh no I'm not busy, what's up?" He felt somewhat guilty for not having talked to her in about two weeks, it seemed like even longer,
"When you get back can we talk?" He wondered what was wrong? Why she was calling after all this time, he had talked to Craig and knew about their conversation although Craig wouldn't tell him what they said,
"Sure, you can't talk about it now? You ok?" He could hear her sigh,
"Just having a bad day but I just really want to see you." He nodded his head as she continued,
"Nick? I miss you. I know the last time we saw each other wasn't good but I really miss you." He breath caught in his throat, he didn't know what to say, how to react to her honesty,
"Nick?" He cleared his throat again,
"Uh yeah, I'm here." She sighed,
"Well?"
"Well what?" He didn't know what to say,
"I told you that and you don't have anything to say?" He rolled his eyes in frustration,
"What do you want me to say?" He heard her stifled scream,
"Nothing Nick, I don't want you to say anything. I love you and I'm sorry and I want you back. I want to be with you and just you again." It hit him hard and before he could reply he heard the click of the phone as she hung up. What the hell was going on? That was like a load of bricks dropped on him, a month ago the only thing he wanted to hear was to have Shayna back now, it's not that he didn't, he was just unsure.
He fell asleep on the couch watching a movie and felt something on his neck. He registered they were kisses and he smiled,
"Hey baby." She leaned in and kissed him, her tongue aggressively entered his mouth as she lay on top of him and began to grind into him,
"Hmm Lexi." He pulled her head back to look at her just as he opened his eyes and he was surprised to see Amber looking back at him with a smile,
"Sorry no Lexi but you got me." He sat up and pushed her off of him gently,
"Are you crazy? How did you get in here?" She smiled,
"I have a key remember?" He took a deep breath as she continued,
"Come on, let's have some fun. I'm sure Lexi won't mind." He frowned as he looked at her like she was out of her mind,
"What makes you think that?" Amber kicked off her shoes and lay her feet on Nick's lap,
"She and I were together the night before you came to town, she won't mind sharing." He looked at her,
"What? So you guys slept together a few days ago?" She nodded as she got up and went into the kitchen,
"Yeah, we don't date or anything but occasionally we hook up and...take care of each other if you know what I mean." He stared into space as he thought about what Lexi had told him,
"You guys met a few years ago right?" She called out from the kitchen,
"Yeah, she was in school and we became friends, then it led to more." Nick stood up and joined her in the kitchen,
"Want something to drink?" He nodded as he hopped up and sat on the counter,
"So, what kind of stuff have you guys done?" She laughed as she turned and walked over to him and handed him a glass of wine. She stood between his legs and placed her hands on his thighs and began to rub them,
"You name it and we've done it. We've had all girl orgies, like four of us at one time." Nick cut her off,
"How many threesomes have you had?" She smiled as she shrugged,
"Since we first started sleeping together when she was eighteen? Too many to count. Let me put that differently, like six or seven different guys but many, many times." He couldn't believe it, she had lied to him. What the fuck?
"So you guys are together regularly and your boyfriend doesn't mind?" She smiled as her hand ran over his groin,
"I don't have one but when I did they never had a problem with me bringing in someone else." He nodded,
"Lexi?" She nodded and shrugged,
"Yeah Lexi but other girls too." She reached inside his shorts and began to massage him, his eyes slowly closed as he lay his head back against the cabinet. Her cell phone rang and she left him momentarily to pick it up. She returned and stood before him,
"Hello?" She reached her hand back into his shorts ,
"Hi Lex." She looked up at Nick and his eyes were wide as he held his breath wondering if she was going to say anything,
"I'm about to go drop off some dry cleaning." Her hand began to work him as she talked to Lexi and every now and then she would lean down and lick him, looking up to see his eyes closed. She took him completely in her mouth while she listened to Lexi and removed her mouth only to answer her,
"Hmm, that's the other line. I need to take that, I'll talk to you later." He thought she was just saying that to get off the phone but she clicked over and began to talk. He listened and figured she had to go,
"Ok, I'll be there as soon as I can." He sighed and rolled his eyes as she ended her call,
"Don't worry, I wouldn't leave you like this." She closed her mouth over him and his hands tangled in her hair as he pushed her head down. His moaning filled the air and she stroked him as she continued to suck,
"I'm gonna-" She looked up to see his face contorted,
"I'm-" He never finished his sentence and he looked down and watched as she kept him in her mouth until he was finished. Before he could say anything she was out of the kitchen,
"See you later Nick." He shook his head as he sat on the counter and lay his head on the cabinet trying to figure out what all just happened in such a short time.
