Nick and Lexi made their way into the bowling alley and went over to the two lanes where the group was waiting at the end. Lexi was introduced to Kristin and Donna, Howie's date, hugged Sarah and AJ and waved at Kevin,
"Where's Brian and Leighanne?" Kevin stood up and grabbed his bowling ball,
"She's not feeling well." He paused and glared at Nick when he heard his snort then looked back at Lexi,
"How do you know Leighanne? Are you a fan?" She looked up at him, noticing the tone of his voice and the look on his face,
"As a matter of fact I am." Nick put his arm around her,
"What size shoe?" She looked away from Kevin,
"Eight." He leaned over and kissed her on the cheek before standing up,
"Hey get me a root beer and some nachos please." He nodded and walked off as he saw Kevin rolling his eyes and shaking his head. After getting the shoes, he went over to the concession stand and Lexi appeared next to him leaning on the counter,
"I figured you could use a hand." He smiled and turned his attention to the cashier who stood before them and waited for his order,
"Yeah, um let me get nachos with everything, a large root beer and a large Pepsi. She eats a lot, I try to tell her it's going to catch up with her but she don't listen." The cashier smiled and blushed as Nick winked at her. He looked over to see a smiling Lexi shake her head,
"What?" She leaned into him and whispered,
"Did I ever tell you how much seeing you flirt turns me on?" He shook his head and she continued,
"Baby, I can't wait to get you home."
Kristin made a strike and high-fived her team. It was Kristin, Kevin, Sarah and Howie against Lexi, Nick, AJ and Donna. The evening was going well and everyone was having a good time. Nick silently groaned when Kevin addressed Lexi,
"So Lexi, how did you and Nick meet?" She watched Donna pick up a spare as she answered,
"We met at a club." Kevin nodded his head and glanced at Nick before proceeding,
"So, you guys exchanged numbers and met up the next day? That's cool." Everyone knew Nick didn't just get someone's number and that was it until the next day. Lexi looked over at Kevin and smiled,
"Actually we hung out the whole two weeks he was here, then he flew me out to Florida to spend the week with him. It's your turn." Nick looked down at his shoes, he wished she hadn't mentioned he flew her out, no one knew about that and even though she was proving she was more than just a casual thing she also proved, in Kevin's mind anyway, that Nick was being used.
"Come on Nick, you have to give me another lesson, I'm getting rusty again." Nick jumped up and stood behind her, no space between their bodies. Her butt firmly in his groin and his arm wrapped around her waist as the other was bracing her arm that was holding the bowling ball,
"I am really loving these bowling lessons." She smiled as they swung the bowling ball back and forth, their bodies rocking to a silent beat only they could hear,
"Maybe I should give you some lessons at your place." She laughed,
"There is no bowling alley at my place." He laughed and rolled his eyes,
"Whatever smartass." The spell was broken when everyone began to moan and complain, with AJ speaking up
"Ok, no one needs THAT much instruction." Kevin complained,
"Yeah and not in public either." Kristin smiled as she watched Nick kiss Lexi on her neck,
"I wouldn't mind a little of that instruction." Nick turned around and winked at Kristin, he knew there was a reason he liked her so much he thought as he watched her ignore Kevin's groaning and pouting. He stepped back and watched her bowl her first strike of the night. She was so excited she ran back and practically jumped in his arms and gave him a kiss,
"Ok, maybe I should pretend to be sick so we can leave." She shook her head and looked at him as she tugged on his jersey,
"No, that would be rude. Besides they would know...but when we get home I promise I'll take care of you." He moaned as he watched her tongue run over her lips and she winked at him.
"Howie where you been? It's your turn." Howie ran up and picked up his ball,
"Oh, Entertainment Tonight is over there taping a birthday party for some little kid actor, they wanted me to say happy birthday in the camera." They looked over and returned to what they were doing, not giving it a second thought.
