Shayna walked over and stood in line with her mom and her sister,
"Geez, the line has barely moved." Her mom smiled as she tucked Shayna's hair behind her ear,
"Yeah, guess because it's Saturday." Carrie shook her head as she popped her gum,
"It's Disney World it's always like this right Shay?" She shrugged her shoulders,
"I don't know, I haven't been here in like a year." Her sister turned to look at her as if a second head was on her shoulder,
"You live within driving distance of Disney and you don't go?" Shayna rolled her eyes,
"It's not like it's the movies Carrie. It cost over $120 just for us to get in...and that's with a Florida resident discount." She sighed and closed her eyes as she saw the look on her mother's face,
"Shayna let me pay for Carrie and my tickets." She smiled,
"No, mom. It's no big deal. It's my treat." Two girls walked over and stood next to Shayna,
"Um Shayna...can we get a picture with you?" Her mother seemed confused but Carrie knew exactly what is was all about,
"Sure sweetie." This was something she had to get used to, people knowing her and wanting her picture because she was Nick's girlfriend. At first she avoided being around the fans because she didn't know how to react, then she was too nice, then she was too distant. No matter what she did there were always people who judged so she just learned to deal with it. She posed with the two girls and afterwards one of them asked,
"Is Nick here?" Shayna shook her head and put on a sad face,
"No, he's not...but I wish he was." She could see her mom and Carrie look at her when she whispered her wish. The other girl had a worried look on her face,
"Is he ok?" Shayna looked at her and smiled,
"Oh yeah he's fine. He's in LA recording with the Boys." Their faces lit up at the mention of a new album,
"Have you heard any of it? Is it really good?" She laughed and held up her hands,
"Whoa, sorry but I haven't heard any of it yet." They were called away and waved goodbye to Shayna as they left,
"Tell Nick we said hi." Carrie looked at Shayna,
"How do you deal with that? And tell Nick hi...like Nick knows who they are." Shayna shrugged,
"You just get used to it. They love Nick and the guys, they don't mean any harm." They continued to wait in line and Shayna's mom stood next to her,
"Honey are you over Nick?" Shayna looked at her mom,
"Why did you ask me that?" She placed her hand on her shoulder,
"The way you talked about him to those girls." She shrugged,
"I'm not going to burst their bubble when it comes to Nick and I'm not going to go around telling people we are over. I can't believe it's not out we're over, it's been almost six months. Then again only one of us is the celebrity, if I was a celebrity it would be news." Her mother smiled,
"Well, good thing it's not news. It's hard enough without everyone wanting to know every little thing."
