Class Syllabi

For the 2006-2007 school year, I'm pleased to teach two different content areas.  To see the class syllabus, there are two ways to view the information;
a) Either download and save the Microsoft Word syllabus for your files, or
b) Open the syllabus as a web page within your web browser.

U.S. History - NO Online Syllabus is available

World Cultures II - Word Document

World Cultures II - Web Page

Please read over your syllabus carefully.  We will be covering a considerable amount of information this year, so begin managing your time now.  The reading can become considerable if you don't keep up every day.

All courses this year will have writing assignments.  Most will be five-paragraph essays. However, there will be at least one six to eight page research paper.  To get students comfortable with writing higher education level papers, the research papers will need to be written in APA style.  This is one of two formats found most widely in college-level and professional writing.

A short guide to APA style in writing and Some Illustrations can be found here.

If there are any questions at arise throughout the year, PLEASE let me know.  Since I check my e-mail often, even on the weekends, most likely you'll get a response from me promptly.  My e-mail address is located on the web site's homepage.
