All this material would be exhibited in an exhibition, arranged at the end of the academic year.  Parents and their siblings would be invited and the children themselves would tell them about their plants and how they have take care of them to make the plants grow properly. A plant sale would be held in the school and the children would tell the invitees about the plants and nature of the plant and so on.  The money collected would be used to buy seeds and other plantation and garden material.
We plan to divide this project in different parts, which would include field trips to other gardens and nature parks.

This would have the certain features like:

 Exploring Horticulture.
An in-garden study of application of scientific principles to the art of growing plants.

 Ecology.
Directed observation of plant and animal life in the woods, fields and gardens.

 Fall Garden.
A walk through the formal gardens, greenhouses and nearby wildflower area to see what changes the fall brings to the garden.

 Introduction to Taxonomy.
A study of the scientific classification of woody plants using a specially designed key in the gardens tree and shrubs study area.

 Spring gardens.
A walk through the formal gardens, greenhouses and nearby wildflower areas to see the changes spring brings to the garden.

The Goals of the project are the following:

To share the information on horticulture.
In Pakistan very few people know what horticulture is.  We need to spread the information about it and introduce it as a proper form of science.  We plan to introduce this to the children so that they get proper background of the work they are doing.  As the saying goes that a little knowledge is dangerous, we should teach the students about horticulture and make them do it practically.  By doing so we hope that we would embed the idea in the children in a very young age, as good habits should be put at early ages so they stay forever.

Top provide structured field Experience as a compliment to classroom study.
Gopec wants the children to experience first hand what they learn about plants and soils and birds and nature in general.  They need to become a part of nature by contributing in what is happening around them.  They need to feel it and get acquainted with it.  We can learn in the classroom but that sort of learning lacks the interactive quality which doing something practically has.  Children learn more easily and quickly when they do that thing with their own hands and see what happens. Seeing the plants grow into trees, seeing how a bud develops into a flower and how pollination occurs and how fruits change into fruits.  Observing the bees and the butterflies, the birds and other garden things is very interesting things and children remember them after seeing them first hand and it is far better that learning from books where they hardly get any good pictures and the children on memorize it and never understand.

 To encourage curiosity and creativity.
Children should be encouraged to express themselves.  They either do that by word or by writing it down on paper in forms of paintings and drawings.  We intend to encourage that so that we can find out what they really feel about the whole thing.  This innovates their creativity as well.  While the children work in the gardens and the nature fields they are bound to ask questions about what they are doing and how certain things are done and what happens next and so on.  This would be a good exercise for them as its good to encourage their curiosity and what is better still is the fact that they would get their answers in practically and they would be able to judge it and see it for themselves.

To help young people become knowledgeable about and comfortable with the natural world.
The main reason to introduce this project in schools is to make the children comfortable around plants and nature and this could only be done by telling and teaching them what plants do and how they survive and develop feelings in them for things like that.  Make them knowledgeable about nature and get them acquainted with it.

 Justification of the Grade-program:-
Over and above, Almighty brought forth man in order to consummate the real beauty of the Universe.  Man has been bestowed the ingenuity to discover the mysteries of the creation.  His journey started from unknown.  His destination is known.  He is discontented with the half-truth.  He is going on and on.  He has discovered the solar system, he stepped on the moon, and he became master of the earth and its resources.  Ultimately he resorted to fashion the nature, he eroded the mountains, slaughtered the animals, uprooted the trees and scratched the soil for natural resources. He then invented machines, industrial revolution brought on waste emission.  Ugly head of pollution moved up.  Deforestation jumped in vogue.  Man was proud of his success.  Miracles of science made the life bed of roses.  Life became fast, its spirit went lazy.  He befriended materialism.  Over his follies nature kept on weeping.
