Cars are a rarity! Look at the carts! Of course taken from standing outside what is today the newsagents looking up to Sutton New Road. Johnson Road on the left. See the petrol pump where the launderette now is? I checked for it's remains, nothing. Does it look to you that the railway ramp is at this time got steps? If you look at that wall today you can see where the new brickwork is. No idea why this photo was taken. The General Strike was 1926 and not much is happening here!
