GOOD MORNING CALL Volume 3 Summary

Nao is preparing her Christmas Eve day, and in this purpose, she asks for hisashi's disponibility. Unfortunately, Hisashi will be busy because of his job on that day. Of course, Nao is really deceived, and she complains to her friends, Marina and Mitsuishi. She feels more depressed by learning that her friends will spend good Chrismas Eve day, while she'll be all alone.

Nao and Hisashi are eating their obento on the grass with Abe. This one asks Hisashi to give him one of his delicious sandwiches. Hisashi vehemently refuses. So Nao suggests Abe to take one of hers. As Abe is opening wide his mouth to eat, Hisashi takes the sandwich from him and eats it. Abe suspects then Hisashi to be jealous. Nao asks Abe about his planning on 24th. Abe sadly tells her that he'll be all alone. Since Nao will be alone too, he suggests her to spend that special day together. Hisashi doesn't seem to be indifferent to their conversation...

At his workplace, Hisashi is told by Nanako that Chrismas day, Valentine day and birthday are three major events for lovers. In the evening, Hisashi informs Nao that he'll be free on 24th; which makes Nao feel very pleased. In the classroom, Nao is thinking about what to do on Christmas day. Abe arrives and gives her his program for that day. Marina speaks in and asks Abe not to interfere between Nao and Hisashi.

Unfortunately, Nao is ill on the special day. So Hisashi goes to school alone. He promises her to bring some cakes, when he'll be back from school. At school, he is inquired by Abe who is worried about Nao. He suggests to pay her a visit after school. Of course, Hisashi vehemently refuses it; which makes Abe feels more suspicious. In the evening, Nao and Hisashi ends their day by playing "puyo puyo" video game.

The end of school year is approaching. Everyone is wondering which school to attend. Nao is worried because it means she'll be sent to boarding school and she'll be separated from Hisashi...

At home, Nao finds a property guide. For confirmation, she asks Hisashi about it. This one confirms her suspicions. Next morning, Nao has to go to school though she's on winter holidays. Hisashi doesn't have to because his school results are good.

On his way back from work, Hisashi encounters the old owner of his apartment. They discuss a moment, and the old lady makes Hisashi realizes that he'll miss Nao once she's gone.

He buys two cakes back to home. Nao is touched by such a delicate attention. At that moment, the telephone rings. Nao thanks Abe for the cake he brought sooner. Hisashi listens with irritation to the conversation without saying a word. Once the talk over, she realizes Hisashi has eaten the two cakes. she wonders why Hisashi's behavior has changed so suddenly...

The following day, Nao penetrates Hisashi's room to steal his property guide. She is caught by Hisashi who demands her to give his guide back. He is surprised to face her refusal. They are interrupted by Yuririn entering. Caught on the moment, Nao is holding the property guide. Yuririn thinks that Nao wants to move because of Hisashi's bad treatment. Hisashi explains her that the guide belongs to him and that since Nao will be sent to boarding school soon, he has to search for another apartment. Nao interferes by saying that she has no more intention to go to boarding school.

Nao and Yuririn are doing shopping together. Nao admires Yuririn's silhouette coming out from the fitting room. She decides to go on a diet from that day. Then, the two girls talks about love. Nao says she would like to meet Hisashi's brother. when she's back home, she learns that Takuya, hisashi's brother, was at her house. She is deceived for not having met him. She asks Hisashi which high school he will attend. She is very surprised when he tells her he will attend Kubokou high school, because he could attend a higher level high school. He explains her that Kubokou arranges him because of the proximity. He also suggests her to go to the same school as him, since they could continue to go to school together.

At school, Abe is happy to learn they decide to go to Kubokou, since he'll attend this school too. Only Hisashi shows a deceived face by hearing such news. He also shows his surprise when he learns that Abe has been interested by Yuririn, a married woman. Abe, confused, can't help talking about Hisashi's feelings towards Yuririn. Hisashi's face suddenly changes to a shocked face. Nao is panicked and yells at Abe. Hisashi understands Nao knows about it, and leaves. In the evening, Hisashi doesn't say a word to Nao.

From that day, Hisashi eats sandwiches he buys at school, instead of Nao's obento. That changing situation builds a rumor about Nao and Hisashi's separation. In the garden, Abe apologizes himself to Nao. The girl can't accuse the poor boy. She is just deceived to see that Hisashi's anger actually means he's still in love with Yuririn.

In their classroom, Kengo asks Hisashi about his situation with Nao, and informs him about the rumor about it. At the same time, Nao is surrounded by her mates who wonders if she's still Hisashi's girlfriend. the confusion is interrupted by Hisashi who calls Nao for them to go back home together. Such a scene puts an end to the rumor. On their way back home, Hisashi tells Nao he wasn't aware there was such a rumor about them. He also explains her that he wasn't angry against her, but only felt shame at the idea of Nao knowing his feelings towards Yuririn. He precises that he's not in love with Yuririn anymore.

In the evening, Nao and Hisashi are having dinner. Hisashi cries of joy, since he hasn't eaten a real meal for days. They are surprised by an unwaited visitor, Yuririn. She asks Nao to let her sleep at her apartment. At first, Hisashi thinks it's a couple dispute. But, it seems more serious, since Yuririn claims Takuya has an affair and demands a divorce.

Hisashi decides to go to his brother's house to demand some explanations. Nao imagines that a divorce will make Yuririn free, and so reunites Hisashi and Yuririn. Her thoughts are interrupted by a drunk Yuririn asking for kisses.

At school, Nao can speak with Hisashi about last night. Hisashi explains that it's just a misunderstanding. However, some time is needed to make all clear, since Yuririn is very angry and she won't listen to anything for now. that's why, he asks Nao to take care of Yuririn for a while, while he'll be at his brother's house for a moment.

In a bookshop, Abe meets Yuririn, who invites him for a date. The next day, Abe can't help showing his joy at the very great surprise of Nao and Hisashi. Once at home, Hisashi yells at Yuririn for such an unreasonable behavior. He gives up face to such a stubborn woman, and leaves. Then, Yuririn explains to Nao she won't do any unreasonable thing with Abe.

The next day, at school, Nao and Hisashi are talking about Yuririn's thing. They also realizes that they won't see each other at all for the first time, since holidays begin the following day. They are interrupted by Abe, who presents them his new gadget: a cell phone. Thanks to that object, he thinks he'll have more chance to seduce girls. To begin, he asks Nao's phone number. It's time for Nao to go back to her classroom. Then Hisashi pretends to be interested bu Abe's new gadget. While pretending to observe the cell phone, he erases Nao's number from Abe's cell phone. Then, he pretends to have badly handled the cell phone functions.

during his date with Yuririn, Abe complains about Hisashi's behavior. He talks of his suspicions concerning Hisashi's feelings towards Nao. Yuririn is surprised by hearing that. She informs Abe that Nao and hisashi are living together.

Hisashi is finishing his work. Since he has some time before his next job, he drops by his apartment. He asks Nao some information about the current situation with Yuririn and leaves. He also precises her that he'll pick her up to go to school on next morning. Once he walked away, Hisashi wonders why he went home... to see Nao???

Nao is at home with Yuririn. Suddenly, the telephone rings. Yuririn hangs up the phone. An argument follows. It's Takuya's supposed affair who calls Yuririn to explain her that there is a misunderstanding. But, Yuririn is too angry for that. She also decides to have an affair to get revenge. Nao interferes: she says that by doing that, Yuririn doesn't hurt only Takuya, but also Hisashi. Yuririn understands and calms down.

At last, everything's going be alright. Yuririn accepts to go back to Takuya. As an apologize, Yuririn suggests to give a hand to "boost" Nao's situation with Hisashi. She suggests Nao to hide herself in her own bedroom. In the evening, Hisashi is back home. He's surprised to see Yuririn still there and asks for Nao. Yuririn pretends Nao is out for shopping. She asks Hisashi to go home and live with Takuya and her. Face to Hisashi's refusal, she jokes by suggesting it's because of Nao if he doesn't want to go home with her. At her great surprise, Hisashi confirms that it is the reason. Then, he lears a big noise coming from Nao's room. He understands he's been trapped. Since her task is over, Yuririn leaves him. Leaving alone, Hisashi approaches Nao's door. He tells her he really means what he's just said.
