To any other superhero this particular photo might be a disturbing one. A shot of a prominent beach area at mid-day with nary a soul in site; mere footprints being the only evidence that life had ever floursihed here. Perhaps the bright light shining down from the sky is an alien disintegration beam that turned all the tourists enjoying afternoon sunbathing into nothing more than particles less substantial then granules of sand?
The reason for the beach being vacant was of little importance. By this time Captain Gonzo was catching a nice little buzz, and couldn't give a dimple's worth of care about the plight of humanity.
