| Dreams do come true... |
| This is Mixie with her new parents (right). We saved Mixie as she was seconds away from euthanazia. After being with us for three weeks, we realized Mixie was pregnant. She gave birth to ten pups and mama was the first to be adopted. Her wonderful new parents waited eight weeks to adopt her making sure all the babies were weaned. Mixie is now named Ruby. She has a bird sibling named Riki. Ruby and Riki enjoy spending time together and napping together. Ruby and her new family are very happy together and adore one another. |

| This is Zoe (left) & Duncan (right) with their new family on Thanksgiving 2002. Duncan spent the early part of his puppyhood tied up outside and his collar was so tight it had to be surgerically removed. Zoe was given up by her former human because he didn't want her anymore... Well, those days are long gone as you can see. They both are in a wonderful, loving forever home together and are best of friends!!!! This is a double happy ending!!!! |

| This is Tequila with her mom and sister Min Pin. Tequila is loving life with her new family. She is living life to the fullest. Tequila is part of her mom's hiking club. Tequila has hiked part of the Appalacian Trail which is quite an accomplishment. She has her own backpack which includes treats and her collapsable water bowl. We enjoying seeing Tequila and Min Pin when their mom goes on vacation. |
