Consider the Flowers Copyright Alice E. Steimle - 2003
Each year as Spring approaches I look up to watch the bulbs and trees It's almost as if God's saying I'm here to help you, please He knows my favorite flowers are carnations and the rose Yet the peony in our garden has my heart at best Its fragrance is like the rose, and then I laugh to myself Thank God I'm not blind folded or this would be a test

Then come the Lilies, their colors so bright There is yellow, red, purple and such a hue Then I think of the beauty and God says to me I hope you like the bouquet I placed here for you With the sound of the water falls Then the birds begin to sing No wonder that I love spring the best It shows beauty and everything

I thank God for taking us down this road We had no knowledge of where to go When we were so lost on that special day He looked into our hearts with this land He did show Now we have an Eden to watch all the time He led us here to our own paradise A lot of work goes into making it this way As I gaze into the woods, beauty right before my eyes
