| To some the gift of Life is the money they receive I guess that's ok, if that's what you believe Just don't open up too wide your greedy little hand You might see how the others live, and understand To some the gift of Life is the laughter that they hear To know they have friends far away or near They remember all the words so gently spoken They know that in their hearts a friendship can't be broken Another gift of Life may be a small child's smile You can hold it in your mind for a little while Soon they grow to womanhood or become a fine young man Remember this gift of Life for as long as you can Others see the gift of Life as someone who's in their heart A person rather close, someone they do not want to part They know the gift of Life is a great and blessed true love Given to them to cherish since it's sent from God above The best gift of Life to me is simple and grand The creation God gave to me of His great land All around I see greatness, my friends and family I see and hear and touch them, that are surrounding me Each day I pray to Him that gave me the great and small Doing all I possibly can for the world and all I ask that He will bless you and relieve your pain Then I thank Him for binging you to me again |
