"Well he was in love with Willows best friend, Buffy, who by the way is a slayer. So that was a big no-no, but Angel and Buffy tried to make it work anyway, so they had this whole forbidden love thing going on, couldnt keep thier hands off each other. Then Angel reverted back to Angelus, who was actually way hot, once you get past the trying to kill us all problem. After Willow restored his soul, Angel ended up in hell, Buffy came back from L.A which is where she`d run to after haveing to kill the love of her life, and Angel dropped from hell. It was never the same. I think Angel started feeling something for Will`s way back then, and he just fell out of love with Buffy. By then he was head over heels in love with Willow, and decided to leave for his and her own good. Oh by the way the soul, its permenet, no more Angelus ever again, unless Angel wants to let him loose to play that is"

Doyle was stunned, Delia had just explained Angel and Willows past in one breath, god the girl was perfect, even when she was insensitive and aggrivateing, she still manged to make him smile. She was sweet too, underneath all that seething nastiness and sarcasm, just a normal sweet girl, well woman, who would never look twice at him, but a half demon could dream couldnt he.
