Insipired by the beautiful masks seen at masquerades and Mardi Gras, these paper mache masks are modeled after the Italian Rennaisance. The masks are made from durable papier mache which is hand sculpted then sanded and sealed. Then they are painted, embellished, signed, varnished, and given the final touches. Most masks can be worn or displayed, while some are made specifically for display. If you see a mask you would like that is not for sale, I can make one for you, and can also make new designs on request.

Man in the Moon

The half mask is coated with paintings of clouds on a dark night sky. Embedded in the forehead is a silver moon and star pendant, with silver beads in the corners of both eyes and down the nose. The mask can be worn by tying the handmade ribbons. Made as a partner to Sunburst but can be bought alone.
