| It's quite simple: in Volume IV, Booke IX, Chapter IV of the unabridged version, entitled "Outburst of Former Times," it states that, "The corpse of a mason killed by a musket shot was lying in the Rue de la Perle." It is never mentioned before or after this sentence. To be honest, I just thought it sounded cool. |
