God Bless My Son!!

He's just an ordinary fellow
To most folks I guess,
But to me he's my only son
That I'm asking you to bless.

God you know he had to leave me
While in times of war and strife,
He went to serve his Country
And has offered to give his life.

When he find himself in danger
With the enemies in that land,
Please put your arms around him
Or just hold onto his hand.

He's just a 21 year old Soldier
But has sworn he would defend,
His home, his family and Country
And that he'd fight until the end.

I really can't help but wonder
How many nights he lay alone,
On the cold and dangerous ground
In Saudi Arabia so far from home.

Please God don't think I'm selfish
For praying for my soldier boy,
While he's fighting for our freedom
That our Country now enjoys.

Put your arms around all the soldiers
Red, yellow, black, and white,
And bring them all home safely
After the Saddam Hussien fight.
