Thank you for stopping in for a visit and show your support for our military. I belong to a family of proud U.S. veterans. I feel this country is the best in the world and our troops are the best people in the world, but they need our support to help keep their morale high. Our country is at war and need the support of every american. You don't have to believe in war to support our men and women or to honor the families, of those who died in service to their country. It's unfortunate that this country has been built on freedoms because of war but extremely unfortunate that some individuals who claim to call this their home but yet disrespect the sacrifice given for this great country. Words could never express the deep gratitude and appreciation I feel for the men and women that are in Iraq and Afghanistan.

My son came to me in May, and told me that he felt the need to do something to help the morale of our men & women at war. He said he was like so many other americans who were saying they support our troops, but were actually doing nothing to help. He continued by saying it's like someone saying they were a christain, but never prayed unless they needed something or never open the bible. He and his family has started making cross necklaces to sell. He sends care packages, letters, phone cards etc. He goes to http://anysoldier.com/ but there are a lot of places to go on the net. At Any Soldier your letters and packages go directly to the soldiers who don't get much or any mail first. Everything is shared. Our military has not received the level of support and honor they deserve, so I am dedicating my time to help my son and his family with their support.

I personally would like to see every american wearing a Patriotic Cross to support our troops, but there is so much that can be done for support. I'm asking you to get involved whatever you choose to do, it will be a very small price to compare for what they are doing for us. It is human nature to avoid the unpleasant. But we need to remember the cost of war, we need to remember the price paid for our freedoms, but most of all, we need to not let those who died, die forgotten and in vain. I for one, will be forever be indebted to those who gave their life for our country. I thank you as an american citizen, and as a human being. I am also dedicated to help support our troops and their families until the last troops comes home.
