Gohan, Krillin, and Bulma launch off to Namek to get the Namekian dragonballs and wish everyone back to life. After Goku is healed he launches off to Namek and begins his training. Vegeta is healed and is also on Namek. Vegeta kills a few of Frieza's henchmen including Zarbon and Dodoria. In his first battle with Zarbon, Vegeta is badly beaten when Zarbon transforms. He is taken back to Frieza's ship to heal in a rejuvenation tank. Once healed, he sneaks out of Frieza's ship, stealing the five dragonballs that Frieza had collected. This gave Vegeta a total of six dragonballs, he found one earlier. Krillin and Gohan go to see Guru, the eldest Namek, where he awakens their sleeping powers. In the meantime, Frieza calls the Ginyu Force, his elite fighting squadron. Upon their approach on Namek, Vegeta, Krillin, and Gohan team up and take the last dragonball to Vegeta's hideout. When they get there, the Ginyu Force arrives. Gohan and Krillin fight Guldo, who has the ability to freexe time. He is killed when Vegeta suddenly jumps into the fight and chops Guldo's head off. Recoome fights all three of them next. He knocks the crud out of all three of them until Goku lands on Namek. Goku gives everyone, including Vegeta a sensu bean. He then has his turn with Recoome and knocks him out in one punch. All the while Vegeta is babbling to himself about Goku being some Super Saiyan. Jeice and Burter both fight Goku at the same time, but neither of them could lay a hand on them. Goku knocks Burter out and Jeice runs away to Captain Ginyu. The fight is over but Vegeta then kills both Recoome and Burter. Captain Ginyu shows up with Jeice to fight Goku. After Goku reveals to Captain Ginyu that he is much more powerful than he is, Captain Ginyu uses his secret technique, the body change technique. So now Ginyu, in Goku's body, goes off to catch up with Krillin and Gohan at Frieza's ship. At the same time, Frieza is paying Guru a visit, but Nail takes him to another place so he could fight. Guru then sneds Dende off to find the others, Krillin and Gohan. Ginyu arrives at the ship and easily deceives Krillin, but not Gohan. They begin to fight, then Goku, in a wounded Ginyu's body, shows up and reveals what happened. Ginyu tries to power up to his max, but finds out that he is constantly getting weaker and weaker. After a bit of being pummeled by Goku, Krillin, and Gohan, Ginyu figures out his new body and uses it to it's max. Neither of them were a match for Ginyu. At the last moment, Vegeta stepped in, who had killed Jeice while evreyone was trying to fight Ginyu. He severely beats Ginyu, and tries to deal a finishing blow. But Ginyu does his body change technique. Goku, knowing that this was his only chance to get his body back, jumped in the way of the blast and the two switched back into their own bodies. Ginyu tries to change bodies again, but Goku throws a frog in the way, and you could see where this is leading. Krillin and Gohan help Goku into a rejuvination tank, and Vegeta fell asleep. While that was going on, Dende showed up and Krillin, Dende, and Gohan take the dragonballs away from the ship and summon the eternal dragon, Porunga. It turns out that they get three wishes instead of one. Their first wish is to revive Piccolo, and the second is to bring Piccolo to the Planet Namek. They don't see him anywhere and realize that they should have wished for him to be brought to their location. Vegeta wakes up and sees Porunga and angrily flies to where they are and has Dende wish him to be granted immortality. Before the wish could be forfilled, Guru dies along with Porunga. To make matters worse, Frieza shows up. Vegeta fights Frieza and they seem an equal match, but Vegeta then provokes Frieza to transform into his true form. He does and announces to everyone that at that state, his power level is 1 million. Frieza then stabs Krillin through the stomach with his enormous horns. Krillin falls out of the sky and into the water. In rage, Gohan fights Frieza. Then, out of nowhere, a distructo disc comes flying through and cuts the tip of Frieza's tail off. It was Krillin, good as new. He reveals that Dende had healed him. Luckily Frieza didn't hear him. In the mean time, Piccolo finds Nail, does a Namekian fusion with him, and arrives at the site where everyone is fighting Frieza. He begins to whup up on Frieza. Then, when the fight seems won, Frieza transforms into a third form. He still is no match for Piccolo and so he transforms again into his final form. In this form, he is stronger than anyone had imagined. Piccolo gets beaten severely. While Piccolo is fighting Frieza, Krillin blasts a hole through Vegeta. Vegeta then gets Dende to heal him. Frieza sees this and kills Dende right after. Vegeta stands up and challenges Frieza, though even with his new powers he is still no match for Frieza. He gets beat up badly. Vegeta had nothing left to give when Goku shows up, more powerful than ever before. Vegeta talks to him telling him about the true fate of thgeir home planet, and how Vegeta destroyed it killing both of their fathers. When he finishes, Frieza kills Vegeta and Goku buries him. Goku and Frieza begin to fight, both evenly matched. Then, out of nowhere, Frieza powers up to 25% of his maximum. Goku think he's bluffing, but soon finds out that he's not. Goku gets pummeled pretty bad. With his last bit of strength he begins to power up a spirit bomb filled with the spirit off all the things in the galaxy. It turns out to be a gigantic ball, and Frieza can't sense it. When at last Frieza sees the ball hovering in the air, he flies into the air and charges up one of his planet destruction balls, but before he could throw it Goku launches the spirit bomb. Frieza is caught in the spirit bomb and gets blasted by it. Everyone thinks the fight is over. Krillin and Gohan fly over to Piccolo and Goku on an island. They begin to talk and celebrate their victory. Krillin gets scared and won't tell anyone why. They look at where he is staring to find an angered Frieza standing on some rocks. Frieza shoots a laser from his finger at Goku. Piccolo pushes Goku out of the way just in time, but in doing so he is hit by it. Goku gets really angry. Then Frieza then kills Krillin. Goku gets very very pissed. His power begins to rise dramatically and he really transforms into a Super Saiyan with golden hair spiked upward. This transformation raises Goku's power level higher than that of Frieza. The begin to fight and Frieza is overwhelmed by Goku's might. In a last ditch effort he shoots a planet destroyer ball at the core of the planet. Frieza says that they have five minutes to wrap up the fight before the planet explodes and he powers up to 100%. On Earth, Mr. Popo collects all seven dragonballs and wishes for everyone killed by Frieza to be revived. This wish revived Guru, Porunga, Vegeta, and Dende. Vegeta praises Goku for becoming a Super Saiyan while Dende makes a wish to Porunga to transport everyone from Namek to Earth, except for Frieza and Goku. They continue to fight until the last moments of Planet Nameks life. Goku finally blasts Frieza to the next dimension and leaves for Frieza's ship. When he gets there he has a hard time getting the engines started. Planet namek explodes. In the next year, everyone wishes back Yamcha, Tien, and Choatzu. With one last wish they try to revive Goku, but they find out that he is still alive somewhere. So with the last wish the Nameks leave Earth to a planet similar to Namek.
