In memorial of the best elementary school show choir ever...
Goin' Gold is a former elementary school show choir that consisted of 5th and 6th graders, who got together every Tuesday and Thursday during their recesses for only 20 minutes a day...
Its last year was 2001-2002.

Favorite moments, followed by the year in which it happened:
-Freestyle pose at the end of "The Power of The Dream!" Unfortunately, someone chose a pose that smacked someone else in the face... on stage. Youch. (1999-2000)
-All that howling of laughter when everyone first heard the song, "Be Kind to Your Parents" (2000-2001)
-No one was able to sing those really low notes on the "Cheers Theme" in the song "Stay Tuned!" Remember all those voices that were cracking just to try and reach that note? (2000-2001)
-At the end of the "Jetson's Theme" in "Stay Tuned," everyone on stage was choreographed to pretend to play "Chopsticks" on an invisible keyboard. Some people acted like rock stars for just that moment! (2000-2001)
-Oooh, those heavy white boxes! Someone from 2001-2002 got his/her finger caught in one of them on the evening of a performance, when the members were loading the boxes onto a bus. It was funny
(2001-2002)
-That same person who got his/her finger caught in one of the white boxes got kicked (accidentally) in the ear on stage later that evening... Man, do I feel sorry for him/her...(2001-2002)
